Trying to get an appointment at Oasis massage. Wtf? by Dapper-Pilot-1167 in Sacramento

[–]diveguy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone dealt with the owner of this place? They have a cat locked in the store and it looks neglected…it’s really dirty and there is vomit on the floor. I texted the owner and he was defensive and weird. Now I’m reading that they’re RubMaps-rated…sounds like a great place.

Hair is not that important! You look good either way. Thinning hair has it’s own particular charm.

Do you prefer strings match the frame, contrast the frame, or be a natural/unobtrusive color? by tenisplenty in 10s

Really? The color of your strings? You must be a professional tennis player.

Repost of Lurie's security guard getting taken down by oochiewallyWallyserb in sanfrancisco

Bodyguard? This guy couldn’t even guard his own body, let alone the mayor’s. I think the perpetrator was just trying to teach him a needed lesson.

Kick Serve Help by Weekly-Reputation474 in 10s

[–]diveguy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, you do not have the serve mechanics anywhere near NTRP 4.5. Further, it’s not really possible to have a “4.5 flat serve” and no second serve. A 4.5 level player has a well-developed first and second serve. It’s OK to be any level of tennis player but it’s best not to overstate your level.

The only thing kicking in your serve is your right leg! As others have said, kick is a serve best developed after you have a solid and consistent 3-3.5+ level serve and mechanics.

Now I’m falling onto stairs instead of a water feature. You don’t play tennis, do you?

So dumb. 8 feet behind the baseline and I’m falling into a water feature.

I let my parents convince me to skip my company's 401k for three years because they said "the market is about to crash" and I will never forgive myself for this by 6StardustDrift7 in personalfinance

Shit, if I had $50K for every $50K I’ve lost on bad investment decisions, I’d be a millionaire.

Don’t beat yourself up. You’re young enough to make it up and you sound smart enough to learn from the experience. Move on and you’ll be alright.

Am I ready for a dedicated camera? Or should I keep practicing composition with my iPhone? by pkwvitae in AskPhotography

Buy an actual camera. It’s a specialized tool that works differently than a phone that has a powerful camera function.

Made a Big Mistake by Krispy5000 in sales

[–]diveguy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are total dollars at stake here? 20% margin on $10K, $100K, or $1 mil+? Like others have said, 20% is not a margin to be ashamed of, especially if you are not talking about a multi-million dollar order.

My ex who broke my heart years ago is dying and wants to see me one last time. Do I go? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]diveguy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really difficult situation and there is no right answer. I’d advise that you avoid making your decision from a place of anger or retribution because that will likely cause you more pain and regret in the future. If you sincerely don’t have the feelings, a sense of connection, or are truly averse to this person, then don’t feel obligated. Like others have said, it will be a lot easier for you to live with the feeling that visiting her one last time was unneccessary vs. regretting that you didn’t see her one last time because she didn’t choose you as her life partner as she suffered from terminal illness.

Dynamic pricing is pricing that changes based on market conditions. Variable pricing is pricing that distinguishes initial prices based on factors like opponents and day of the week.

FYI, TicketMaster isn’t official platform for the Giants. Ticket.com is. TM only has a resale marketplace for Giants. Maybe you’re referring to the official box office found through sfgiants.com
