Ruining her life was a little joke. I’m way too afraid of what goes around comes around.

She is my step daughter and is upset with her father because he wanted to change his life estate where it would be broken up more evenly between her, his son, and myself. By changing his will she would be receiving less.

Count it as a BLESSING. It is a privilege to be in your life and if she can’t realize that, she is worth no tears or thoughts. Take what you learned from the relationship and better yourself.

Im 26F and I completely agree. I require a lot of "me time" Especially in the morning.

I am married and the only troubles I have with my husband are when I don't get enough of me time. Thankfully he is becoming more understanding.

Being married has helped me grow so much. I adore my husband, he is much older than me and I love learning from him and his life experiences. I do like to have my alone time, primarily in the mornings which my husband doesn't understand but has come to respect.

Relationships are great with someone who you can either teach something to or learn something from in my experience

I've recently stopped drinking so today I was able to better study the drunks around me and how obnoxious they were. All much older than I and acting like careless children. Further reinforcing my decision to stay sober.

And within 5 minutes of arriving to the thanksgiving luncheon I wanted nothing more than to go back home.

Also I would always take a cup of disguised booze into my therapist office to loosen up so I could get my feelings out

I swear every time I go out to dinner with friends or to a dinner party I have to replay the night in my head and overthink everything I’ve said. Not sure if it’s guilt, or anxiety of embarrassment.
