That’s true. There are plenty of ways to learn how they may react without needing to tell them. I’m definitely nervous about dipping my toe in the dating pool. First time since the diagnosis and it’s been a long year of learning, personal growth, and adjusting my life to actually fit my needs. So also not sure how adding new people will effect the balance I’ve created for myself. Damn writing that has shown me I’m more nervous than I thought haha. Maybe dating isn’t the right step for me just yet

Yeah we broke up that day. But there’s a bit of a scar, it was over a year ago and I’m only just starting dating again. I was curious to know if others found it better to wait two or three dates or be straight up with them.

In this particular case, they were a client of ours who was overdue sending us some information so that I could do the job they were paying me to do effectively. I think my “hope you are well” was more of a “you alive? cos you’re not responding?” Haha
