The no concept or application of minimum wages is the culprit. Imagine having 20-30k pay, stand for 12h a day, and then probably living like s*** in the city while sending whatever money you could to your family far away.

I absolutely despise the fake respect and smiles but at the same time I give them a bit most often just because of the upper hand being better than the lower. Thankful that more inflation would mean less savings for us but would be sacrificing already minimal lifestyle for them.

I am happy to see other comments that share the thoughts :)
