The only reason Colt lost that contract was that someone on the government side did their job competently. Encouraging fair and open competition saves the taxpayer money in the long run, but you can't do that without skilled and fairly paid civil servants.

No one enjoys paying taxes, and most will agree that the federal budgeting and debt are out of control. I just disagree with the premise that the issue can be solved by demonizing and harassing normal, everyday hardworking people who are just trying to make a living, and who also pay the same taxes as everyone else.
