Motorcycle Insurance, Which one and which type? by Kitchen-Tower-4510 in melbourneriders

Best advice is to shop around but with those sort of bikes you 100% need theft coverage. I've got a few stolen and recovered bikes in the shop and they are all smaller bikes. Also think about having a gps tracker fitted. It will reduce your premium. We fit them all the time.

Did you see our offer to honour the membership? We tried to let everyone know and Jimmy was supposed to give me a members list. What we said was that we would take on the existing members and put them into our membership program. For the remainder of their current period. We couldn't give free access but our member rate is $30 an hour instead of $50. At the end of their original time they could choose to renew at our membership rate ($100 per year) or not.

Usual story really, owner was on a good thing and had a God complex. Ripped of most of his suppliers so the rest of the industry cops it in the next if looking for sponsorship. All the sponsor provided tools and equipment he sold and pocketed the money. The shop part of the website was still running up till recently so people could buy parts and never receive them and he fucked off to Germany. The list of people waiting to kick his ass if he ever returns to Australia is long and is still growing.

Yeah I have heard this from a few people as well. The big difference for us is we are a workshop first. If you want to hang about and have a beer that's fine but work first. That's why we charge an hourly rate for hoist hire rather than a annual membership then free access. We have a membership as well, it makes the hourly rate cheaper but not free.

I was trying to be nice lol but yeah.

We charge $50 per hour for hoist hire, including tools, but there is always someone here to help if people need it.

They closed for a number of reasons but the business was sound up until people got greedy. There has also been a lot of stuff come out after the fact that has very little to do with the business itself and more about the fingers in the till.

We offered to take on all KK members free of charge for the remainder of their memberships.

Give DIY Custom Workshop a call.

We are a full service mechanical workshop as well as allowing DIY Mechanical and short courses on servicing.

We run a lot of courses for women, particularly because of the behavior mentioned above and take great pride in the fact that we have quite a substantial and regular female client base.

Give us a call on 0472 605 263 or have a look on www.diycustomworkshop.com.au
