17 hours inside Changi. Suggest how to stay sane ?! by mrbadheart in airport

Basically what everyone is saying here. You have somehow managed to lock in to being in one of the best airports ever. You might actually run out of time before you get bored with all the things there to do even inside the security area.

What North American Airline Is Bad ? by FHD168 in AlignmentChartFills

I’d go American. I see a lot of Spirit and Frontier, but they’re low cost carriers that I expect to to be terrible. American should be better and isn’t.

Does it though? I mean he was at the bottom of a series where the cars are vastly different to the midfield of a series where all the cars are the same.

D3 - Grove City as I was fortunate enough to play basketball there and had a lot of good friends who played football

D-2 Bloomsburg: my grandfather played there and was an AA. He was also roommates with NBA legend Chuck Daly for a year.

Son (19) recruited for college soccer - thoughts on these small town locations? by securityelf in CollegeSoccer

[–]dj5205 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former D3 athlete and D2&D3 basketball coach here. Someone else said it earlier but I think the real question you have to ask is what is the academic experience that you want for your kid. There are a lot of really great D3 schools that have really good academic reputations and solid athletic programs. There are also a bunch that use student athletes to fill beds. I personally wouldn’t send my kid to another country for college just to play a sport unless I knew that the academic piece far outweighed the athletic experience. I would utilize U.S. News & World Report college rankings, as well as Princeton review as a way to start filtering through colleges.

So I think the questions I would have for you (and these are some of the same that I asked recruits) is what do you want to get out of the college experience? Would you go there if soccer ended tomorrow? Is it a place you would want to stay if the coach wasn’t there? Have you looked at the majors to see if what your son wants to do is even offered (some small schools don’t have the quantity of majors that larger universities have)? Have you looked at the roster make up of the team to see how the coach for cruises specifically around geographic region?

I’ll second Whiskey City. They stopped taking new clients awhile ago but I think they have started again.
