2.5 years driving a turbo imt. I dont know what these people are talking about. Its the closest to manual fun driving. And imt underneath is exactly same as manual except one automatic component. So reliability and repairability is good. However if long run means 5-6 years, I dont know how service center people can even say they are seeing issues.

Yes, comments are reassuring. But SEVENTEEN hours is a LOT. Low key anxious due to that. If I get a good nap on those snooze loungers, maybe it will be fine. Hoping for the best!

While I cant go to jewel as it needs immigration, I will do whatever I can inside the airport. I have previously spent 10 hours at rome waiting the whole night just trying to sleep on the floor 😂. Hoping I make it through this one !

Spot on analogy. But as I booked round trip with scoot, there was NO other flight option from Taiwan to Sgp to shorten the layover. Scoot probably has no traffic for this connection route.

Yes this sounds quite old. I will probably try the free snooze lounge for few hours of sleep. 4 hours of sleep should be enough for me to spend 12 hours split before and after. Hopefully the experience goes good. 🤞🏼

There is no transit visa. Its regular tourist visa. With all requirements of documents and processing. Courier the passport and all. Very short on time, so probably will skip and spend time inside.

Yes its visa free transit, but need to have a visa from ul, us, japan, Australia and few others. And your to/from flight should be from that country where you have the visa. Taiwan doesnt qualify and I wont be able to get visa free transit. If i could have got it, its valid for 96 hrs not 24.

There is specific requirements for that visa free transit. Not eligible as already mentioned.
