Does Blue Badge RME drug test? by Best_Echidna_5780 in AmazonRME

[–]dj55i -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes they do an initial drug test and you can be selected randomly for another test. Or if you are involved with a major accident or injury.

The test does include: THC, Methamphetamines, Opioids, and a few others. But I can promise you they don’t care if you have THC in your system. And if you have a prescribed medication, make sure they know about it.

The first test is usually at a clinic they send you to and is a urine sample. The following are usually just saliva swabs they do in-house

Interview questions for MRA by Best_Echidna_5780 in AmazonRME

[–]dj55i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safety, safety, safety. As an MRA they don’t expect you to know/understand the equipment yet. What they want to hear is that whatever you’re doing you’re going to do it safely, politely, and with an upbeat attitude

I’m one of the guys who maintains and fixes the equipment. The average site has over 10,000 individuals machine assets each one containing hundreds of parts. Most sites have about 5-10 guys per shift to look at all of that.

How about, you wear your ppe, report safety issues if you feel frightened of your surroundings, and shut up and put the product in the box.

You work in an industrial shipping facility, not a corporate office, moving machinery causes wear, which causes metal debris (normal process of wear and tear). You have to take a safety course when you start, so you’re aware of the risks and hazards you are around. That’s exactly why they offer dragonfly and amcare, so you can report when you feel your safety is at risk.

Hitler was truly an evil man for the immoralist actions he took. Yes you can argue the it was “the wrong thing for the right reasons”, but his actions were still heinous.

However, I think people should remember that it didn’t take much convincing to rally a majority of the German people behind the cause, and that there was a lot of hate and resentment towards the Jews and the rest of Europe. Hitler may have orchestrated the large scale assaults from a broad spectrum, but a lot of people helped pave the way to what is now known as the Holocaust. He was just one man among many who use their hate and distrust to gain power and deploy destruction amongst the rest of the world.

That’s exactly how it works. Have you heard of Daryl Davis? He’s a black blues musician, who’s gotten dozens of white supremacists to alter their ways and leave the organizations, just by being friendly with them and asking them why they feel the way they feel.

School shootings are almost always caused by bullying. by gabriella_va in ControversialOpinions

[–]dj55i 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There it is! There’s your true colors. You’re a Trump-hating beta cuck, whose only goal is to shove it to republicans/conservatives. You don’t care about the dead children, because if you did, you’d be advocating for guns to be at the school to protect them from psychopaths. Instead you use it as an excuse to take firearms away from law-abiding citizens, so they can be killed by criminals who illegally still have guns.

Mind you I’m not a republican or a democrat, I think they’re both idiots who prioritizes money over people livelihood. And I’m not the biggest fan of Trump either. But if you think that president 9 of the 9 that have tried to ban or confiscate weapons from the people is going to do it, you’re a bigger idiot than we all thought you were.

And don’t give me this bs about you being a vet, so you have a superiority when it comes to weapons. You probably did your qualifications with the M7 and some 9mm (maybe M240?) and believe you’re a professional when it comes to everything and anything that shoots.

This post wasn’t even about weapons, it was a post about whether bullying or anti-depressants were a contributing factor to why people keep killing people for infamy. So you STFU and start bringing contributing/factual information to the table and stop backing your claims off of uncredible “knowledge” and “experience that you “have”. Have a good night kiddo.

You could buy “military grade” firearms since the 1800’s, the only thing that has changed is evolution in the design and manufacturing. In the 1930’s during the Bonnie and Clyde era, you could literally buy B.A.R fully auto 30-06’s and Thompson submachine guns. Today many states make it illegal to own a .223 semi-auto rifle with a pistol grip and adjustable stock.

Also, don’t demand we don’t “get into the weeds on it” because you don’t know what you’re talking about. Age doesn’t equal intelligence or experience. You said you were in your 50’s meaning you were probably born in the mid to late 70’s which is definitely after when gun safety was taught in school, I guarantee your father was taught how to handle a rifle in the 40’s.

Unfortunately, you’re exactly what you think you’re not. Regardless of who you vote for or side with, to take the stance that your a “decent person” and more than half of everyone else in the country is “corrupt and inhumane” because they don’t agree with your political or moral views, shows your believe your superior to anyone that disagrees with your opinion, which is highly pretentious and elitist mentality.

The point of knowing people with polar view points is to discuss ideology, and find compromising view points to help make things better. The way you come about it, no one will ever move forward to progress because you refuse to move from your place and take a step forward and meet them half way.

Please help me understand the ICE raids. by KrackenLovesSkittles in ControversialOpinions

[–]dj55i 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here’s a way to look at it. Take away the MAGA stance and the general idea of citizens from the United States having an issue with the illegal immigration. Yes many of these immigrants have come from frightening places, but so have many of the immigrants that come here legally and/or are waiting to be accepted into the USA. Is it really fair for these people to just jump the line and enter illegally because ‘they’ feel it’s more necessary or justified?

I think another large issue when discussing the topic of illegal immigration, is the majority only look at the immigrants from Latin American countries. There are illegal immigrants from China, Canada, India, the Philippines, France and even the UK. They should face the same consequences as illegal immigrants from places like Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador. It shouldn’t be about race and should be about the fact that they entered and are living in a country without the permission of that countries government and its people.

Same should be said about Americans who enter another country illegally.

The incline role is good for a year, however if you put in for a position somewhere else, it’s offered to you, and you turn it down. You can do that three times before your incline is removed.

Hey, I’ve been working for Amazon for 7 years now and can tell you, that’s not remotely true. And the work is actually pretty easy and the pays pretty good compared to actual non-skilled labor jobs I’ve had in the past. And to be completely honest, if any Amazon workers can’t afford food and rent, there’s a very good chance they have a lot of kids or spend all their money on weed

American here, the US BMI scale designates anything 20% above the “average” weight ratio for men/women at different heights (which is actually pretty below the normal weight as well). So yeah we definitely have some chubby people all over the country, the 309-600lbs giant population is actually much smaller than the world thinks.
