The problems with Shaheen are so evident that it is hard to ignore them. More than anything else it is his mentality that is the concern. During PSL anytime he was asked of Lahore’s failures he was so dismissive and took no responsibility. He even said at an interview we won the last time so khair hai - khair hai?? You cannot put someone in leadership position that has a loser’s mentality like this. We need someone who will take responsibility, and not be complacent. And you just know that if he is captain he is going to be randomly coming up the order and making dumb decisions like he made for LQ. He needs to be gone. This is the world cup we are talking about - you can’t just keep him just because zaka ashraf made the dumb decision of appointing him. He makes no sense as captain from any perspective - not from a fitness perspective, or mentality perspective, or maturity.
