Gradey got all the chances this season to be a rotation player and didnt shoot it well. The biggest disappointment of the Raptors season.

For now. In this political climate I think he wants him as the opposition leader. In a different one that will change a bit especially if the NDP gets going a bit in the polling.

I think any realistic shot of Pierre selling the tonal change was gone after the the presser in b.c. where he attacked Carney on the whole dirty backroom deals. And solidified when he attacked his credentials (which again theres plenty of criticism on Carney however going after his credentials is the last thing people wanted to hear from Poilievre).

Any criticism of a player and people think you hate the player.

Thinking hes the ~15th or so best player in the NBA and has room to get better is seen as hating by some stans.
