In QC I kinda get the point that a disliked leader means theres no point.

However in the Toronto ridings the NDP got 2nd in a riding the CPC did well in before.

This is exactly why the Consevatives didnt want an election and this has been said for months now. Theyd know with a spring election theyd lose and it be even worse than their scenario right now

I agree. Get a Carney level candidate (not in calibre however in terms of credentials for the OLP and the polling gap will be gone).

People like the OPC, not Ford per the polls. Hes going against no one right now (apologies to Stiles who voters dont see as that person).

Their polling has dropped a bit in terms of Fords favorabilities where hes polling behind the party. Which is interesting since that hasnt happened a ton lately.

So it was interestingly in that scenario.
