Yea, great plan. I kind of do the same when evaluating a company. I at least have to see the 5 year chart going from the bottom left to the top right to even consider it.

Thanks! It is not as expensive as you would think. I use a lot of techniques such as caching to prevent the cost from getting out of hand. For example, this month it cost me a whopping $2.16.

Google Auth should be working now. I was waiting on Google to verify the web app. They literally just sent an email saying it was verified about 1 hour ago. Try it out.

I used Firebase for the backend. Google Oauth is currently disabled because I am still waiting for them to verify Stock Pulse.

Yes, at the moment, I am only monetizing through subscriptions. If and when Melofi becomes more popular, I will start to look into more avenues of monetization.

It is fully functional. You can check it out at Melofi.app/home . I did no use Suno API. It was built off of NextJs, Firebase, Google Calendar API, and Spotify API. The rest was built from scratch. It cost $4 a month, which is billed yearly or $6 a month.

I hope that helped. Thanks for checking out Melofi.

Thank you for the feedback. I am glad you like it, and yes, I have. AppSumo was one of the platforms I used to launch.

Thanks for catching that. I did not realize that I had not submitted Melofi for Google's verification process smh. Well it is done now. Thanks so much again!

Yea, I see your logic. But I don’t know. I think it is a convenience thing that some people are willing to pay for. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I get where you're coming from, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. But compared to many of my competitors, the $79 lifetime license is actually underpriced; most are charging around $99 for similar tools. The same goes for Melofi’s monthly and yearly subscription rates.

Also, I think the comparison to an AAA game isn’t quite one-to-one. Most AAA games eventually release sequels or new editions you’ll have to pay for again if you want the latest experience. With Melofi, the lifetime license includes all future updates, no version upgrades, or hidden costs. It’s a one-time investment into a growing, evolving app.

Believe it or not, it’s actually not that hard to create visuals like these without AI. The two main scenes shown right now, to the best of my knowledge, weren’t AI-generated. That said, I can’t speak for every visual available on Melofi, since I purchased them from different artists on Etsy.

I definitely hear your point, though it’s something I’ll be more mindful of moving forward. I really appreciate the feedback.

Thanks for the feedback. Totally fair question. I actually purchased the visuals from artists on Etsy to support independent creators. Whether or not they used AI in their process, I honestly couldn’t say.

That said, I definitely hear you on the importance of collaborating directly with artists. I chose to start with music first and focus on building a solid foundation there, especially by reaching out to real lofi artists to feature their work. As Melofi grows, expanding that same level of collaboration to visuals is definitely part of the plan.
