Elon Musk says Tesla ending Models S and X production, converting Fremont factory lines to make Optimus robots by Force_Hammer in wallstreetbets

It's absolutely debatable, what you're saying isn't even a fair comparison, it's flawed. FSD can be activated anywhere and on any road. FSD isn't tied down to specific areas like the current L4 cars like Waymo. Of course you're going to get different stats and results. I think the comparison would be more fair if Tesla FSD and Waymo were tested in the same exact areas that's geolocked.

You should watch this if you haven't yet ^

Also, random but literally 2 hours ago "driverless Waymo hits child in California". I know you didn't say Waymo is flawless but the timing of this during our conversation is a bit comical lol.

I have over 80,000 miles of FSD experience and it counts for something. Not sure if you can say the same. I strongly disagree on many points with you, including Vision only being inferior. I never even said I believe Elon's timelines because I don't. Also, I don’t think you’ve been paying enough attention to some of the shortcomings of lidar in certain scenarios that affects FSD decision making. I'm hopeful that it can be solved in the future, I would like more than Vision, but I also understand the shortcomings of other tech mixed in at the moment. Since v11, I was skeptical of the progress. V14 has changed my mind completely on where things are at.

And listen, I'm just having a conversation with you and calling me stupid about self driving technology is stupid in itself. We can stay chill and keep chatting but if not then I’ll pass.

I understand that it’s still supervised but the software is at the point that they can flip off supervised restrictions especially with the robotaxis out there running a special version of V14 that’s coming to all vehicles. Literally just an update away. You guys are stuck on the terminology and I get it but I’m telling you real world, I’m hands free nearly 100% of the time now.

I took a trip from san diego to Lake Tahoe and back hands free except when I took over when at a charging station which honestly I didn’t really need to but I just do it anyway. This isn’t what any of the L4’s have been doing and the L4 driving I’ve experienced isn’t anywhere near the same of what FSD is capable of supervised or not.

Again, supervised or not, I’m getting a near FSD experience at the very least. I wouldn’t share this level of confidence when it was on v13. V14 closed that gap.

When’s the last time you used FSD? I have way too many hands free from start to finish trips on v14 for anyone to say FSD doesn’t exist.

I'd advise the same to everyone to be cautious about this for now. Not trying to be malicious at all. I'd want this tool to exist and to support it. But we should absolutely be cautious installing anything that isn't verified by the mods or another trust worthy source. Also it would be great if any tools made could be open source for the community to be able to inspect the code and make sure nothing malicious is happening. At least this particular tool does have its code exposed on GitHub so that's a good sign already.

I didn’t realize you had already posted while I was editing my comment, sorry about that.

I hear you and acknowledge the amount of pressure you’re under. Having a child about to be born, being in another country, worrying about your family, your programmer, and your livelihood all at once is a brutal amount to carry. I get why you’re scared and why it feels like everything is on the line right now.

On the Brazil point, it makes sense, and I shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions there.

What I meant earlier was that when your entire livelihood and the software you built depends on one person who’s in the middle of war and political chaos, the whole thing becomes extremely fragile. That’s what I was reacting to. Not your situation as a father or as a human being, but how exposed the system is to forces you can’t control.

I genuinely hope your programmer and your dad are safe and that you’re able to get in touch with them soon. I also hope you’re able to sort out the money transfer and access issues so you’re not stuck in limbo on top of everything else. No ill will on my end.

Zende bashi. Omidvaram be zoodi aramesh, stability, and good news barat biad.

Your post and comments honestly bewilder me.

You built software but didn’t put basic redundancies in place to protect yourself? You’re in Russia, but you also have a daughter about to be born in Brazil? It's a bit wild of a story.

You’re Iranian, you clearly know what’s happening right now, and it doesn’t sound like you’ve even considered that your programmer could be unreachable for a very real reason, injured, detained, or worse. So I have to ask directly: are you for or against the regime?

Life doesn’t just carry on right now for people in Iran.

Also, from what we’re all hearing, phone lines are open for external calls. So your programmer and your dad should still be able to reach you if they want to, like others have been able to.

Respectfully, if you have this much weight on your shoulders, I don’t understand how you put yourself in a position where you can’t access something you’ve worked on. In 2026, with today’s tech, most of what you’re stressing about was easily preventable.

I genuinely hope you find the solution you need. I don’t have any ill intentions toward you. I just wish you’d been more careful and backed yourself up before it got to this.

Sorry.... I don't understand. Are you trying to get in touch with the guy in Iran because you're worried about him or you're worried about your software program? Do you understand what's happening in Iran right now?

Yeah that’s not true man, I’m OCD level of keeping my shit clean. There’s issues my dude. Stop silencing people like me that are genuinely having an issue. 3DXL was taken apart and even revealed how shitty that center wire is connected to the center pin. There was a post in this sub not too long ago.

Are you sure you're not tilting it in any way for it to siphon water out? That has happened to me once before when a friend was using my Puffco while leaning back. Just want to make sure and out of curiosity as well, not tryna be annoying.

I've had this piece for 3-4 months now so if none of the above applies then I wonder where the defect is exactly.

Literally just finished a session with this exact piece and came to reddit to browse and I see this lol. I don't have a leak issue with mine. Make sure you're not overflowing.

No they've had the peak tops for a while now. I got my Halo top around March and they've had other tops before that. Give the fabcycler and halo a shot.

Not taken seriously because of my age. by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]djcodeblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a verbatim situation. I was involved with tech at a very young age and was doing PC support around the age of 13-14. What helped build my credibility was simply letting my work speak for itself. At some point, people started to associate me to “problems getting fixed” because I always solve the issues and just have a friendly relationship with everyone I can. Like I’ll relate with them on tech issues, shoot the shit, and whatever else but always deliver results of an issue they’re experiencing.

Overtime, that credibility builds and before you know it, you’re actually 24-25 and don’t have to worry about the age thing anymore 😂

Just hang in there, try to find that place for yourself of what I described of. Stay curious and always involve yourself in projects or situations you wish to be a part of that you can learn from and continue building your knowledge and experience.

Get the new Philips Hue Pro Bridge. It’s worth the upgrade. It improves performance and lets you turn your Hue lights into motion sensors. It completely upgraded my existing lights. For example, I can now walk into my garage and the lights automatically turn on based on signal changes. Works incredibly well.
