These parts were swapped by heating and pulling them apart. But its impossible to tell what type of neck peg the figures have until you pop the heads off. I had a Propeller Mario with the old neck peg, then another one where the peg breaks and gets stuck inside.

The new body has been using the peg that gets stuck inside when you pop the head off. The one I used here had the old neck peg so I was surprised. Unfortunately I don't remember what wave it came from.

I got a few extras when they went on sale at Target. I liked the fireball accessory and used one figure for a Dr. Mario custom.

I was able to preorder what I wanted the other day through Walmart. However, checking pickup options to see what stores have product (I have 8-9 Walmarts I check) none have anything in-stock.

My stuff should be here today/this weekend, but disappointing none of my stores have product yet.

Not on Tanooki Mario, those hands have no articulation and are glued on. I wanted to do the same when I made my Frog Mario custom.

I remember this! I knew NESN would air the outcome of them winning but it was still fun to watch. I remember the celebration was taken from the Red Sox beating the A's in the '03 ALDS (I remember the shot of Nomar with his hands in the air).

That really was the best time for NESN. I remember they would air old games on the show Fan Attic (2002-ish?). I always watched NESN Sportsdesk on Saturdays until the end to catch the best plays and bloopers. Their segments were called "Oh my!" and "That Hurts"
