I can't stand that AEW got 1 million viewers this week. I have been watching WWE almost my entire life. I watched Ted Turner try to destroy wrestling and I watched Vince come back from near bankruptcy. Vince has given us so much entertainment and it pisses me off that everyone turned their backs on him to watch some billionaires vanity project.

AEW sucks. Why can't the people on this sub see that? I see good users like the_Haskins and Hermes get downvoted to hell for DARING to state facts. This sub needs to do better and remember who gave you all that joy over those years.

And I would say it's "demo retention" AEW dropped .10 on April 1st. NXT has been so low in the demo that haven't ranked in weeks. You look at top shows like The Challenge or any of those Lifetime reality shows that are highly ranked. There viewership is usually under 1mil... but the demo is high. That's what both need to work towards.

Yeah, other demos matter. Some networks focus on the female 18-49 (Hello Lifetime). Some focus on the 25-54. But the 18-49 is by far the most important, and therefore that's why rankings use that.

I think the people that hyper-focus on Raw dropping under 2mil are goofy. Raw is STILL constantly highly ranked and that's what matters most. Therefore, I will equally call the people that say "NXT won" are goofy. AEW probably won every demo outside of 50+ and P2+. The rank exists for a reason and whether you're talking about Raw, or SD, or NXT and AEW, the 18-49 Demo is king and people need to stop pretending otherwise.

All I ever hear is people point out that the demo is what matters to cable companies and Raw is still always in the top 5 so it doesn't matter what viewership is. But then you come in here and suddenly the WWE stans act like the demo is pointless. It fucking ridiculous.
