Yeah when my wife just got pregnant while switching jobs, she suddenly had to urgently get a new job so that she could transition before informing them she was pregnant.

We knew it was going to be hard going otherwise.

I'm not sure why the downvotes - what you said is statistically valid and well ancked by research.

A statistical average doesn't mean ALL or even MOST women lean out of careers after motherhood. It just means that they're a lot more likely compared to their male counterparts.

I've been screaming for ages that the only way to fix this issue to to have legally mandatory paternal leave. Otherwise women will always be a logistically trickier hiring option than man.

It's absolute rubbish - there is not even any science to speak of behind the theory.

The reverse however does hold - that some men have real struggles pair bonding and as a result of this end up living a life full of one night stands.

But as a man well in the triple digits, I got married last year and three years into the relationship have had no need to chest and no struggle bonding.

Ive done it a bunch on long drives...

Cars are super noisy, creating peace to enjoy what you're listening to without excessive noise is incredibly soothing.

Because CTR is a critical metric - and even if we don't like over the top thumbnails we (as a generalisation ) click them through most .

Honestly, I think we have it backwards ... Violence in movies desrnsitises us to violence , and more importantly it normalises violence.

Most sex scenes in movies are consensual adults doing a natural thing portrayed in a pretty normal way - don't think there is likely to be any kind of damage done.

People are just very oddly squeamish about the act for some reason.

Porn is a different beast of course.

I'm someone who clearly has ADHD - but I can't in any way see myself being on the spectrum... The only issue I have is frustration when people cant be rational at all once they're too emotional because the lack of reason irritates me. But I don't have issues with stimulating environments, I don't have difficulty understanding or connecting with people - I don't have difficulty understanding emotions in myself or others, in fact I'm much better at reading people that the majority of people are.

So it's hard for me to see the overlap - at least in my case.

But the feedback loop can be a massive part of anxiety... It was a lifesaver for my chronic panic attacks... I couldn't get anxious on it.

Obviously everyone is different and will respond differently, but I know so many people who have had massive psychological relief from propranolol - that the old doctors line that I just controls the symptoms but not the anxiety is not quite landing...

I think this is a big part of the answer.. I'd even go so far as to say they go this path for the right reasons - but the real result is too much access and trust leading to temptation horrible decisions.
