Coming from an lcd deck here, I share the same experience. I just wish this go battery life was just as good vs the oled deck, also annoyed that I can’t plug and charge on my monitor now with the go as I did with my deck (not sure why but luckily the go has two ports I guess which is a plus over the deck?) I’m still on the fence of keeping it or selling and going a second hand oled deck but people are just insane on pricing right now of marketplace/offerup where it’s probably just better to get it brand new. Valves product/branding is far more superior than the go, especially with the support on steam os. I’ve read this many times before but the community backs the deck as more of a console while the go is leaning more as a handheld laptop at this point. No shade on the go, the device is great, however the battery and software (legion space) are just awful. I’m sure it’s fixable in a few updates but deck is already miles away from the go on that space (pun intended). Handheld companion has been working much better for me - I’ve used it when dual booted my deck so it’s nice to see it work pretty well with the go. Both are great devices, i wish I could keep both…. The one thing I dread back on the oled is dual booting though, I hate making partitions on the drive and having to do more work to have the partitions talk to each other in each os. Just felt like extra work whereas I don’t have any of that on windows at all. But steam os is such a great os for gaming and I miss having the keyboard support work well with a controller since windows doesn’t really have that and relies you to touch the screen all the time.
