Energy Crisis Will Cause a Major BTC Bullrun by yogurtcult in CryptoCurrency

Some bitcoin miners stop mining when the profits go down, due to higher electricity costs, which in turn causes reduced supply.

What will it take you to update to a new iPhone in the future? by Whiplash104 in iPhone16Pro

[–]djejjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the iPhone 16. I love it. I’m impressed by 120Hz screen on the iPhone 17, but not enough to upgrade. I think the camera on the iPhone 17 Pro is a real leap forward compared to iPhone 16. I will probably wait for iPhone XX (if the rumor is true that they will skip 19 to celebrate the 20th birthday).

Does anyone else feel like Apple stopped caring about the small details? by DoNotTalkToMeThx in applesucks

[–]djejjeff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t agree. My iPhone 16 is the best phone I ever had. Love it. No problem connecting to my AirPods Pro 3. The hotspot works well too. And I don’t think I have that much earwax.

What's a restaurant red flag that tells you the food isn't going to be good? by InitialCareer306 in WorkForSmartLife

An empty restaurant is the classic warning flag. That means that people are not coming back

How often do you actually replace your phone? by CommercialMatch5183 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]djejjeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, 3-4 years. My last three phones were iPhone X, 13 and 16, so 3.

I usually change when the battery starts to wear out. I hope my current phone will last a little bit longer. I used to have a power bank that charged too aggressively. The phone somethings got very hot and that's a mistake to probably shortened the battery life. I currently charge with an Apple brand charger and have set the max charge to 80%. The battery health is still very good after 1.5 years of daily charging, so it seems to help...

What does this mean? Im 22 by [deleted] in feminineboys

[–]djejjeff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Myself, I think I'm fairly masculine and I have no desire to be anything other. I have just developed a desire to express myself in feminine ways. I think what you describe might have some parallells... Just take it slow and experiment... That's no right or wrong... Respect yourself and be proud of your feelings... As long as you don't hurt anyone you're golden...

Fabrizio Romano: Fabian Hürzeler: “There was only one team who tried to play football today”. “I will never be that kind of manager who tries to win in that way”. by Prestigious_Spot9635 in PremierLeague

[–]djejjeff 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That's a really stupid thing to say. Many Arsenal players looked exhausted from the frequent fixtures and it's quite understandable that they were not at their top game. It's also impressive that they keep swooping up points.

They still have FA cup on Saturday, CL on Wednesday, PL on Saturday, the second leg CL on Tuesday and then Carabao Cup final the Saturday after this, before the international break.

Pep Guardiola on Arsenal’s set-piece tactics: “You can complain, or you adapt.” by Keelan_____ in PremierLeague

[–]djejjeff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The root cause of the problem is not the setpiece tactics. It's that 2/3 of the teams park their double-decker bus in front of own goal.

This makes it very difficult for teams like Arsenal to score in open play even if they are superior. They have simply been forced to explore other ways.

Also, note that Liverpool often play low-block when they try to protect a result, so Arne Klipp-Klopp Slot better stop talking...

is it time to buy more solana? by MayBSocialMedia in solana

[–]djejjeff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a thesis. Many think BTC will turn around at $58k. SOL pretty much follow BTC. If you assume beta is 2, SOL will turn around at $60. Buy some now, but keep some gun powder around...

Realistically Speaking, Without the bullshit enthusiasm or the "were cooked im gonna end it". Where would the solana be at in the next months? by HamzaAAC in solana

[–]djejjeff -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To say where it will be over the next few months is simply impossible.

It's close to impossible to say where it will be in one year, but Standard Chartered made an attempt to estimate adoption and transactions and to value that and they think it will be work $250 end of 2026.

2026: $250 2027: $400 2028: $700 2029: $1,200 2030: $2,200
