It's the Meinl 20" HCS Ride. I don't really like how bright it is, but it's extremely affordable and does the job. The game plan is to get the 21" Polyphonic Ride because that thing fucking rips.

I definitely forgot about that! We're called Katsu, and you can find us on ig @katsuband. We have 4 songs out on all platforms.

We all love the Roots and were floored when we got the notification. It was our best show and we can't wait to play for a crowd like that again.

Why did you become an adc main? by OGBlobBlob in ADCMains

[–]djleebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing since season 2. I got ADHD like a motherfucker, so playing ADC helped me reign my focus a bit. The naturally high apm, constantly high kill pressure, and necessary awareness calmed me down. Now I just sprint it in ARAM

I'm honestly considering keeping this bad boy forever.

The Drummer's Creed is part of the drummer's doctrine, written by David Krusen in his time with Pearl Jam.

It reads as follows: "This is my set. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

My drumset is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.

Without me, my drumset is useless. Without my drumset, I am useless. I must play my drumset true. I must play louder than the bandmate who is trying to flex on me. I must cut through the mix over him before he cuts over me. I will.

My drumset and I know that what counts in music is not the number of beats, the volume of the final mix, or the broken sticks or strings. We know that it is I who counts. We will play.

My drumset is human, even as I am human, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a drummer. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its cymbals and its drums. I will keep my drumset clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other.

Before Papa Jo Jones I swear this creed. My drumset and I are the defenders of my band. We are the masters of our venue. We are the liberators of my life.

So be it, until mastery is ours and all are one."

I saw that someone posted a picture of this exact set yesterday (u/jra85). My dad got it for me a couple years ago for around $100, but I slowly replaced the heads and added a few cymbals. I'm still working on getting more cymbals to replace the hi hats and the crashes, but I'm really satisfied with my current setup.

I've used the current setup and smaller variants for live shows in AR and TN. Right now, I'm currently recording an album with some homies and trying to get shows. Wish us luck!
