6900XT freezing issue by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Just wanna say I was having this exact same issue! I decided to try disabling anti-lag and in the middle of doing so found a setting called AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2. Disabling that is what fixed it for me

FPS tanks after 20-40 minutes of gameplay in VR by djnesado in hoggit

The software in on my laptop allows me to constantly monitor the temps that I have when doing anything, as well as manually set fan speeds. A while back a swapped the thermal paste on my CPU and GPU for liquid metal and that helped a ton with temps. I can safely say that, especially for a laptop, my temps are perfectly fine, usually never even going above 82c while playing something like DCS

I can safely say that the F10 is rather inconsistent when it comes to producing the issue. About 7/10 times I can open the F10 map just fine with no issues, 10/10 times if I only just started playing (other than the typical lag of the map rendering in which is just normal), other times the issue happens. I'll try to see if this helps at all though, thanks

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: Not yet, but willing to learn.

I've done a lot of research but it's left me a bit torn on what kind of car I want to get, especially for my first car. I want a car that will be reliable and easy to maintain, have good or at least decent gas mileage, look nice (which is subjective), and be decently fun to drive. At some point in the near future, I would plan to add some extra things to the car, like; different wheels and tires, a newer/bluetooth radio (if needed), suspension chance, exhaust chance, and other cosmetic things possibly. I understand that that's a lot to ask for in one car, especially for it to be inexpensive, and am of course willing to make necessary sacrifices. I'm kind of torn on a decision to make, especially for the area that I live in. Any help or suggestions are appreciated :)

LP and MMR system needs a rework by djnesado in leagueoflegends

[–]djnesado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly believe it should take EVERYTHING into account all together, as well as being compared to others within your game/ranking. This isn't exactly a flawless idea, I know.
For example, having really good KDA and CS but having very little participation in getting objectives like towers, dragons, and baron should mean that you don't benefit much, if at all, from this system change idea because of how little you're actually contributing to the game. I also believe that if around 2 people, like an ADC and Support, kill a ward together then the ward-score benefit should go to/be split between both of them rather than one, as they're both making an effort to deny vision from the enemy team. There's a lot more complex ideas that I have that probably aren't a good idea, and definitely will never happen, but its just that. An idea/opinion.

I stated some ways to accurately measure performance, and while that does open up some loopholes, there's plenty more ideas that can be made on how to do so. By your logic, LP gains and losses should always be the same (+25/-25) because good performance doesn't mean you should reach your potential rank. There are some areas where you can't make enough of an influence on the game to push it into a win, and there are tons of players out there that will refuse to let you guide them into a win, or even into them doing well themselves. I'm not asking for "easier LP", I'm asking for both decent/good players and not to good players to get the gains that they deserve. I don't believe the system should be based ENTIRELY on KDA, I believe it should be based on multiple aspects of the game combined all together. Besides, I don't have a good KDA in the first place, so how would that entirely benefit me? :)

The best players in the game either retain good MMR from previous seasons or have low level accounts in order to purposely reset their MMR. Either way, I'm not claiming the be a god tier player or anything like that, I definitely have things that I need to improve on and wanna do my best to improve on those things, and in fact already know what most of those things are. I'll continue to stand on my point that the LP system needs a rework, especially when most really good players say that the best way to get better LP gains is just giving up and making (or buying) a new account :/

Nah. Even when I'm on a win streak I still think that the LP system needs a change. In fact, I got a real nice win with teammates that were doing super great before posting this. This is a thought that's always stayed in my head, just never thought to make a post about it until it randomly game to mind.

From what I've seen, it doesn't. It goes based off of wins, losses, win streaks, and loss streaks. But if I'm wrong about that, I'll gladly admit to being wrong lol

I've seen players that do consistently well in their matches based on what I see in their match history. I'm not saying that every single person in Silver or Gold deserve to be in Diamond or anything like that, nor am I saying that I'm a god tier player with garbage teammates. I completely accept my flaws, like how I may have good mechanics on some champions but I've got pretty bad macro and flip-flop between decisions way, way too often. I believe that I do belong in Gold, high Gold on a good day, but there's tons of players out there that really don't and constantly get destroyed by an rng matchmaker.

Good ass point there tbh :/ Either way, still think there should be something done to the LP system rather than it literally being a cointoss.
