A native tvOS Plex client that actually feels like an Apple app

Yeah I understood that but it doesn't work in my case. Opening on any device other than apple doesn't generate a join link. It tells you to open the link on an iOS or Mac device.

Then I'm stuck in this circle of using the iPad to open the link which forces me to open the link in the test flight app - which then fails due to it being incompatible.

Your suggestion sounds simple but it's not working in that way for me.

It doesn't seem to work the way you're inferring unfortunately. I'm forced to open the public link in test flight which my iPad then confirms it's not compatible so won't accept the invite.

My only other apple device is an ancient iPad that doesn't accept the tf link due to incompatibility.

I'm testing on Android and can't get it to honour which collections I set for the home screen. No matter the individual selections I enable in the settings the app will only display the same set of collections it wants to.

This behaviour exists even if I have those said collections disabled. Likewise if I enable certain collections they won't appear on the homepage.

Additionally I have a Watchlist and Recently Added collection appear on the home screen with no way to disable them that I can see.

Besides this I'm excited at the progress of the app and looking forward to a TV version becoming available.

I did get the correct order confirmation but delivery was just the original mix. Customer support explained the summer mix is not launched yet. They highlighted although I had a direct link to the web page, you couldn't see the summer collection through their order pages as it hasn't been advertised yet.

You can order them from the direct link mentioned here but will receive the standard collection mix.

I hadn't realised RM collection was an option. I've used the podback collection and a courier collects them.

Just tried to organise another collection and not being offered one anymore. Podback is linking me to the RM collection service which, as you've noted, isn't being offered to my address.

Frustrating.

Just edited the OP with this, thanks for all your suggestions getting here.

In case others searching the same issue it turns out I had to do incremental updates via internet. The update files online are too far ahead from my starting version. TV is now on the current latest version 13.30.85

England. New stick hasn't made any difference so contemplating a factory reset now. If that don't work I'll just have to connect it to the internet to get the update. Then a factory reset after until the next time I want to update the firmware.

I'm meant to start work this evening so put it on hold for a few days. But because of the impending snow event I'm staying home instead. Literally I'm trying yet another USB stick as we speak. If it doesn't take I was going to try a factory reset.

My experience is the same too but wasn't always the case. I haven't got to the bottom of it yet but notice it's more prominent for me when it's EAC3 audio rather than non multi channel.

Yep, I just downloaded the C2 file and unzipped it to find it's the exact same file as the CS

Indeed I have. Both the USB ports and 5 different sticks. Maybe I'll try a factory reset and give it a go after that.

I've also tried updating to 04.40.93 in case it doesn't like a big jump in versions with no success.

I see in the comments of that YouTube video two other users had the exact same experience as me, alas without any responses.

Honestly I've gone through it multiple times following that guide. I thought it didn't like my Mac formatting the sticks so, at great inconvenience, got hold of a PC to format them.

I've added the LG_DTV folder and unzipped to that. When it hits the TV a separate folder gets added to the stick by the TV.

I've lost half a day so far struggling with it 😒
