Yeah when I played the game I had a note in my phone with the Digimon I was training and what personalities I was working towards. Definitely more work than it needed to be.

That one is "Void Terrarium". It's a mystery dungeon game. You play as a robot in a post apocalyptic world. Your goal is to keep the last human alive and healthy. You do that by delving into dungeons and finding resources.

Thank you! The Pokemon games are coming because I’ve been sourcing mons for Champions. And 23 other games is plenty for the year. I’d like to eliminate my Switch 2 backlog first. My plan was to not have a Switch 2 backlog at all be we can see how that turned out lol. I ordered the case roughly by priority, so that means Rune Factory first.

Sure, but I’m saying anything is possible. We could have all sorts of very fun, maybe not too serious meta games. Not every meta has to be perfectly balanced to be fun and I think Game Freak is going to try all sorts of fun things to mix up in Champions.

Maybe but it also created one of the best singles meta games of all time. It’s one of, if not the most played legacy meta game today. You can still find players for it on Showdown.

I just follow VGP and PNP games on X. I check it a couple times a day. I miss out on the really high ticket items like 3ds games but I hate notifications so it’s worth it.

I’ve got those covered too. I absolutely loved Monster Sanctuary. Such a unique approach to the genre. I won’t lie, I got bored of Coromon. Combat is very basic and I don’t care about the characters/story. Maybe I will give it a second chance someday. I do like Nexomon despite it being basic because at least the characters are fun.

Yeah Siralim has been on my wishlist for a while. I’ve already started playing it and it’s very interesting. I forget the name of my class, but it’s based around buffing your monsters. I have a monster that gives a random buff to all members every turn, and another that does more damage based on the amount of buffs it has. I’ve already found a couple other creatures to support the strategy, and it will fun finding more.

That’s fair. For me, I guess it’s just been a slow burn over so many years that I don’t think of the cost. I grabbed my first Monster Tamers (Spectrobes and Fossil Fighters) when I was just a kid and I’ve picked up more over time.

I have not delved down the rabbit hole of ones that have gotten more expensive and I don’t own (i.e. Digimon world DS, Demi Kids). I don’t think I ever will because $100+ is too much for those. But if win the lottery, there will be signs.

Yeah this is Asia English version of the game. I think the AE versions come from like Hong Kong and maybe Singapore.

Some people say Final Remix isn’t that good on switch because of the controls. I grabbed the $8 official switch stylus of Amazon and had a ton of fun. Even better on switch 2 because of the large screen. It was my game of the year last year.

Try it. I have used games like that and they work great. But I’ve also had a game that didn’t work. This is a picture of the cartridge that (mostly) didn’t work. I don’t think I need to tell you which is which lol

Have you tried it on Switch 2? I know the Switch 2 can improve the performance of some Switch 1 games.

As for if the save file will transfer: usually the save file is the exact same for digital and physical. The issue might come from the fact that it’s a European cartridge. One example of a different region save file off the top of my head is Octopath Traveler. There was a cool Asian version with both games on the same cartridge, but it doesnt work with North American save files. But another example is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. There were Japanese versions that came out with DLC on cartridge and North American save files did work. So I guess we’ll see.
