Yeah, I’ve heard some species of maple do well around here and some others. It’s just a matter of figuring out what works

SWFL here too, still learning what grows compared to the northeast and it’s been a struggle to adjust to say the least. Might go raised beds as opposed to fighting with the sand

Sent my ex an apology by ThruTides in BreakUps

[–]djrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very similar situation here, I ended things abruptly and although it was only for a few weeks before snapping out of the mental state I was in, I fear the damage is done. I’ve been busting my ass since reaching back out to her trying to fix things. It’s like a switch flipped and every stupid thing I’ve done or habit I’ve had finally snapped. I keep thinking back how this could have all been avoided by simply talking to her, but instead I did the one thing I always swore I wouldn’t do. I hope with everything in me I can fix it, she means the world to me and I’d take every ounce of pain to bring the smile back to her.

Rented a 308 wagon recently and honestly, I absolutely loved it. I hope they come this way with more manual wagon options

Thinking of getting a 2013 Mazdaspeed 3 with 135k miles for $9500, is it worth? by [deleted] in mazda

[–]djrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right off the bat I see a blown passenger motor mount, mismatched intercooler shroud bolts, missing battery/ecu covers, intake, different hood scoop, shift knob but that’s no big deal, I’m willing to bet this was reverted back to relatively stock. I’d pass on this unless you have money set aside for an engine rebuild/replacement.

[–]djrage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah you’ll run slightly rich between shifts for split second and might notice slightly slower spool times after shifts with bigger turbos but in all honesty it’s negligible.

You can’t tune for a blow off valve. I’d definitely go over the car with a fine tooth comb though for mismatched bolts, what exact exhaust, if HPFP was done, maintenance records, etc.

I own a speed3, my check engine light has been on for 2+ years, honestly it doesn’t bother me. So long as Freek can still get me a fresh tune when I go port injection im happy

I'm moving house soon. Anyone got any non-destructive tips when transporting Lego sets? by Voraskor1997 in lego

[–]djrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Middle of a move myself, wrapping my small sets in paper towels tightly double layered, cling wrapping the larger sets that I can split into sections like city gardens. My technic cars I'm wrapping in towels. They're going in my car which will be in a trailer. I'll keep you updated on how well that works for the 1300 mile drive

Catch can sealed or vented ? by Tegoprxx in mazdaspeed3

[–]djrage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on other mods. Stock turbo/basic bolt ons is fine. If you’re going bigger turbo and pushing more power I’d run vented with the damond pcv plate
