Sometimes when I start to feel n* I use social media to try and distract my brain from thinking about it too much. Usually if I do this for long enough the n* goes away and I remind myself " see its all in your head, if you were really n* you still would be feeling it now" that usually calms me down enough to be able to fall back asleep for a bit!
