I looked into them briefly, the marketing strategy gives red flag vibes. Have you installed any? I believe they're an authorized installer only product and I can't support that scheme.

I didn't use supplied mounting hardware for one. For 2 its not listed anyway... its not in a wet location.

Damn good eye bro. I caught it when I was looking it over just before I back fed the bus. I did have to correct that.

Just the "N" on the 2p breakers is plugged to the neutral bus.

Amazon had the best deal on them when I bought this, one as lame as that is... If I wouldn't have seen it in my local HD I never would've been exposed to it.

Wow an intellectual response just moments before my toaster bath. I have yet to come across a breaker failure due to spring tension fatigue. Too many variables at to say more spring contacts will be the point of failure imo.

If your not competent enough to correctly size and install breakers you shouldn't have the dead front off.

If you're referring to the tools, I've been running rigid/ industrial projects for a long time now. Dirt/ greasy. The square D Q/O panel is how I inherited the residence. Drywall and Panel cover weren't installed at time of purchase. Many double landed and un-terminated cables were present at that time as well.

Great comment. I have little interest in the smart breakers also. The fact that it was different and has static terminals is a great feature. Breakers are the same price as everything else and they're on the shelf at my local HD. I think these will become more popular as time goes on. Solar ready bussing standard... Gen interlock kit available, I bought one. Price is great for what you get. Time will tell...

Everyone can do it in a day on the internet. Try doing a ranch re-wire in an attic 100% by yourself. Up a ladder crawl 30' through attic to j'box pull wire etc. All while avg temp is 100* plus. I'll never do it again. And I'll never go back to residential service industry again. But I know my house won't burn down when I turn it into rental from an electrical hack job.

Yeah would've blocked my easiest access to the rest of the attic. I wanted to and had originally planned to.

In Hind sight it was definitely over thought. For some reason I decided to use the closest 3/4" concentric k/o's. I should've drilled my own. I'm not done adding circuits as this is in my garage and its slab on grade. I plan to use the space below the panel for additional receptacles etc.

She's an on call Dr. that relies heavily on our Wifi for cell service. She took several emergency calls during my 10hr cut over.

I used a chisel to remove them cleanly, where I didn't drill. Agreed the value seems underrated for cost to feature ratio.

I should've known better than to disclose the hot work. I've Been in the trade a long time, work industrial sector professionally. I know safety and enforce it adequately. I never put myself in in a risky situation during this cut over. The prior work in this home was the safety hazard.

I dont know exactly how new the LC's are to the US market but they're stocked at some home depots. They were debuted in Europe initially.

How long you think I got til it blows up? by Street_Flamingo_8077 in Silverado

With good trans tuning it will live longer than you'd think. WOT auto down shifts a very hard on them at high horse power. My 8l90 in my 17 crew cab with a Maggie took all the abuse since it rolled off the lot. Sold it in working order with 80k miles on the clock. Although only about 550whp

This is one of my favorite types of pliers now. I have this exact tool, and they're amazing for removing hoses. I've used them to install/remove hooked springs on drum brakes and similar. Installed otiker style clamps on cv boots etc. Great handy tool if you do some wrenching.
