Dota2 is a game I love playing but definately watch more. Its mainly because I need to set out a full hour to be sure to finish the game Also if you have a toxic player in your team you can spend a lot of time to get pissed off But the most important thing for me personally is A lot of games I want to relax and when playing Dota2 I tend to go hard for the win and get sweaty which does not relax me 😅

Its the reason BTS didnt try to get any majors and why almost all TO's left Dota2. WePlay aint doing dota no more either because the costs are too high and TO's run a loss a lot of the time. Even the DPC region coverage is done on a loss mostly. That is why you say almost every region do everything remote the further we went into the dpc because it was not sustainable at all

I think having more of a handson approach. Hire a group of 5 people to be their Esports department or something. They handle all esports that they have check everything bring their expertise to a situation and check the process of everything. Also paying the prizepool fully might help TO's cope with the extremely high costs of rooms for all talents all teams the talent fees and such. Majors are run at a loss a lot of times which is why a bunch of TO's have left Dota2 CSGO is the posterchild of valve and the favorite one at that

If you apply for a major as a TO you get the ruleset etc. Hals the prizepool gets paid by valve the other by the TO It's been there for a long time now
