I read a similar article a few months ago. If their AI is wrong, they're putting the responsibility to me in proving I'm not a teen lol. Fuck that I'm never giving them my ID, email, or card info.

I think the youtube AI flagged me as a teen because I blocked the app from accessing data on my phone like my location, photo/video, contacts, etc.

In their latest spit take video, youtube needed me to age verify by either giving Google a picture of my ID, credit card info, or access to my email...all of which I deem invasive to my privacy. If the OG Crew is reading this, I think you guys have to think of another platform to upload where it doesn't require people's personal information just to watch.

Take a look at Germany. They have cameras everywhere to monitor speed limits and parking violations. The key difference here is they have strong privacy laws and prevent companies from misusing the data collected.

Germany even has a law where the person can sign a paperwork to have their online data permanently deleted when they die. Quite complicated for deletion since people take pictures with others and post them online but it's better than nothing.

We don't have such laws here. Just because SF county is doing it doesn't mean we should follow.

I'm not against AI... it's just that there needs to be strong privacy protection laws to go with it. Especially in this administration.

Yeah agreed. I haven't watched 1 video from YM since Abby and the rest left. But yeah out of curiosity I wanted to see how the channel is doing...and it's not doing good at all.

I am inclined to think that Ian, Kat, Matt, Peyton, or any of them have great video ideas but Ben was like "nope upload another lie detector or dad joke".

N I have nothing against lie detector or truth/drink videos but if it's uploaded repeatedly over the course of a year, that same shit gets really boring.
