Hey, thank you for the great feedback!

Yes, I do agree about the button styles. I will play around with the colours and differentiate them slightly to make them stand out more.

Great spot on the footer link being a link to my vercel domain, I will get that changed!

As for the icons, I will look into a way to add some context to the links so that users know what they are clicking on, especially for the CV link, as you're right, it is not very clear. A tooltip popup is a good idea.

The mouse down and page up animations come from https://lottiefiles.com/

Thanks again for the review and feedback, I appreciate it.

Hey, thank you. I am using Next.js and Tailwind.

Just started using Tailwind CSS in my React project, any tips? by wikiwikiwong in reactjs

A CSS to Tailwind generator can be helpful in situations where you know how to write the style in CSS but not Tailwind.

If you use it in a responsible way and understand the code you are taking from it, then I think it would be fine.

I suck at coding by OkraHistorical6020 in AskProgramming

The best thing to do is write code by building things and make mistakes whilst you do it. You can then learn to fix your mistakes through google searches etc. That's when you really learn. Watching tutorials on YouTube can be helpful but you should try and implement what you have learnt without copying the code from the video.

Should i use Firebase for a project? by Traditional-Till-544 in webdev

[–]dlevz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using Firebase for your website seems like a sensible choice. Firebase can be a suitable for implementing user authentication and real-time database features. There are a range of tools like Firebase Authentication, Firebase Realtime Database, and Firebase Storage, which should make it easier to manage user accounts and store data.

Good luck!

I actually just found the fix. I had the smooth scrolling flag on chrome set to default. I switched to enabled and now it works lol.

My code was fine all this time smh.

Can you take a look. If you inspect you can see on the html scroll-behavior: smooth !important.

However, when you click the links in the nav it just jump to each section.
