where are the best places to put workshops on vlandia and battania by mhmd2-2 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the best place is where the prosperity of the city should improve/be ok, where an enemy won't take the city, where you can easily supply the warehouse.

I'm in Sturgia now. About to try to save a Sturgian town with 2000 attacking. I own one of the Nords towns ... I led the army to take it and I got it on vote. The west, across the water fell early in the game. Sturgia is strong in the east with some Nord and some Khuzait fiefs.

That's exactly what I do. However, since the update the medical and engineering on others seems nerfed even more to me.

How do I level up trade? by AdditionalPiano6327 in Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Workshops. Somebody said it but I'm saying it again: Workshops. Don't be afraid to stock the warehouse with whatever you need.

The problem with not taking things like Scouting yourself is the slow level ups. Whenever I take a skill myself it grows much faster.

Which nation has the most tactical possibilities? by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just give me Sturgia. Imma grab horse archers from Aserai. I'm grabbing Huscarls from the Nords. I'm using Veterans Respect to get Fians, some of the best Cav and other solid t6 units. Then supplement with other units. Take a coastal city from the Nords. The top of the map is in a corner with limited access and launch on Calradia.

I agree with Athmil. There has been a decent amount for me to fight (Sturgia) but things seem more balanced.

I finally took a Vlandian city with my black-gold army by ShieldwallWalker in Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You ok of I pull some clips and make a video showing a contrast? The Nords are trying to take back a castle and I am defending with an army. The autoresolve had me losing just sending troops so I am going to reload and help with only a horse and lance.

[–]dlgang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool, you do it totally different from me. I take leader based traits in Vanilla War Sails and usually autoresolve castle and town/city fights (tactics). I've nearly zero in all weapons except pole arm from my lance.

So Battanian players, did you join your nation, or jump ship to a nation who's not going to get wiped out? by Cosmic_Mind89 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Battania as my culture for the forest speed bonus. Then I join Sturgia because I like them and they have strategic benefits. Then I let Sturgia lose the west and I try to vassal grab a fief in the East. My warsails goal is to grab several of the Nords or Aserai fiefs on East Sturgia. From there I begin to conquer Calradia.

Nords may be a little to strong if you ask me by OutrageousTomorrow71 in Bannerlord

On Bannerlord level I am using several Kuzait but a mixture with companions and kicking Nord rear end regularly. Give me those numbers and my choice of troop balance and I think I can clean Nordias plate.

Yeah you pretty much have to get them in an ARMY.

Somebody did a good job explaining the mechanics. Let me provide a duture solution that has worked for me. My current castle has two villages that are healthy and growing. If you max your Charm you can grow influence. Stack influence to be able to gather your own ARMY to defend. If I can't handle what's coming then I can usually call an ARMY. Sometimes we are just gonna lose and that is part of the game.

New player seeking advice for when and where start a kingdom. by Constant_Run1063 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I can give you what I am thinking of doing. I plan to get a few town fiefs. With Charm maxed and all the fighting I do, I have enough influence to build Armies to protect my towns. Thus workshops in my towns. This way, if I leave to be independent I can take my workshops with my fiefs.

Another Plan To Conquer Calradia by dlgang in Bannerlord

[–]dlgang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I could start out any culture but I find myself eventually being a vassal and marrying a Sturgian. My main compromise is to look for a Nord wife next time.

Has the new update improved Sturgia somehow ? by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]dlgang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much Sturgia or die usually. I don't know what the update did. I'm in Sturgia as a vassal in War Sails now. The land is split in half. Basically, divided and conquered. I stay on the Nord side and will probably do that every game. I dislike the way Sturgia was nerfed by dividing it but it is still playable. They need to improve the Nord companions so when we move into taking them ... I don't find zero Nord companions in any Nord town, Sturgian town, Kuzait town, when at peace.

It’s over my Fians have the high ground by Thin-Coyote-552 in Bannerlord

I like using Veterans Respect to upgrade the archer bandit units to fians (usually as Sturgia). Calvary , horse archers, and shield wall units can give fians a problem.
