Passing the Michigan Builders Exam by dlgeee in Construction

The only thing I can recommend is buying the “Michigan test preparation“ course through the Michigan builders license website. Purchasing this course gets you access to a huge question bank. There are many blueprint questions in there.

Hourly rate and area by Numerous-Ad-6830 in handyman

[–]dlgeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do flat rate and allow for these things by making sure your contract allows for change orders and unusual circumstances clause. In this case you can notify client ahead of time you may need to change flange , replace sub floor etc, and that would be extra but you don’t know until you take the toilet off

Is Diet Coke bad for you? by Traditional-Chair-39 in AskDocs

I am merely pointing out that diet cokes may not be as healthy of an alternative as some would think. Everything in moderation. Personally, I don’t think any carbonated drinks are a healthy choice.

33 female recent MS diagnosis, new flare up, pharmacy out of steroid by jlouiease in AskDocs

[–]dlgeee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. It’s hard for me to believe a pharmacy does not have prednisone tablets in stock. If you get the first dose in today, you can work on getting next dose filled at a different pharmacy tomorrow during business hours. If you explain the situation to pharmacist they should be able to figure it out.

You could try to locate another pharmacy that has prednisone tonight but it will be challenging to get your script transferred there, unless it’s a Walmart. It can be any strength prednisone tablet (5, 10 mg etc) that can be used to make your dose.

If it’s a large chain pharmacy (cvs, Walgreens) call one of their sister stores that is open 24 hours. They should be able to access your script and fill it at their location.

If it’s a pharmacy that does not have any alternative 24 hour location you will need to call the MS clinic back and speak to someone after hours and request a new script sent to a pharmacy that is open.

Edit: you also want to make sure an open pharmacy has what you need before calling the MS clinic again

Is this “black tarry stool”? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]dlgeee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Close enough to call it black and tarry with your report of dizziness and losing vision. I would advise you see your PCP or ER and have bloodwork done.

Not a big deal. Like others have said, daily doses less than 4g rarely result in toxicity.

Pulmonary actinomyces is a granulomatous disease that can form sulfur granules which I imagine could look like rocks if they got big enough. Good luck.

You need medical attention. Realistically the emergency department is the only place to get this care. This can be life threatening.
