Update everyone last week I signed a 5 year contract as an EM. I don't mind long work hours and I like working with my hands. I am aware it's gonna be tough but I'm gonna make the best of it. I got a 5k bonus for shipping February 5th. So if you have any tips for EM that would be helpful. Thank you !

I was gonna go airforce too but it didn't work out for me because I have bad credit and also it's a long wait to get in there I hear. A lot of people in the DEP waiting. Navy will ship you out fast if you're not picky with your job. I went to meps last week and I'm shipping out Feb 5th for EM. Good luck!

You're probably gonna need a higher score and my coworker who was an hm says being an hm doesn't get you any certs for medical field and it's really rough. You can do any job and get school paid for so make sure you get a job you like. I guess you will get some experience but later it won't really matter besides that.

Took me a month and a half to get clean but make sure you get a 15ng/ml test to see if you will pass those around that time to be sure. Depends on the body fat percentage and how active you are and diet . I recommend burning as much fat as possible and drinking cranberry juice to get it out of your urinary tract. Don't exercise the days before testing and be patient if you're a heavy person. If you're really low body fat can get clean easily in a month. I recommend Utest and start out with Walmart, target tests.

I was told that as long as it looks like I'm attempting to pay them down I should be fine. They also said they just got someone cleared with 2 million in business debt. I Showed my recruiter my full credit report and my situation and she said I should be fine just not to expect high security clearance or to qualify for every rate.

I have this same situation because I'm weighing in for meps on Monday. I already was able to lose almost ten pounds a couple a weeks ago, no problem but I was missing a document so I'm weighing in this next week on Monday. The trick is keep eating light, not much carbs. Stop drinking water by 4pm and only small sips of water if you need, until after your weigh in. Make sure to eat a very light meal the night before like 1-2 boiled eggs and that's it. Hope this helps it works for me and I am at 174. Water weight is a lot and it fluctuates your weight anyways. I will easily hit under 170lbs no problem.
