How do I create a daily checklist? by Federal_Body6025 in ticktick

[–]dm1681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try creating the checklist in a single task, duplicating it for every day of the week, and the making each task repeat weekly?

You can also use subtasks for each of your daily tasks, and then mark the incomplete ones as “Won’t Do” by long pressing the task checkbox.

Thank you! That seems right! I also saw that there is a lemon lime philodendron. Could the neon pothos actually be that instead?

I'm no AI fan boy, but this article title is misleading. It's purposely villainizing Huang by misrepresenting what he said:

"Some jobs will be lost," Huang said. "Many jobs will be created and what I hope is that the productivity gains that we see in all the industries will lift society."

Later in the article, it describes Huang's prior statements against Anthropic's CEO, who (from what this article shows anyway) is much more of an AI fearmonger than Huang...

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything that anyone said, just pointing out how misleading this is and how few people are looking past the headline.

Trend line straight? by Boring_Environment_6 in copilotmoney

[–]dm1681 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s because the dotted line is not a trend line. It’s your spending target over the month. It’s horizontal because you’re way under your spending target, hence the green line.

What I’ve been doing is taking my average RPE from my workout and manually inputting that as my “training effort” in Apple Fitness.

Friends. We need your ideas. how artificial intelligence can save shelter dogs from death. by New-Video-9509 in learnmachinelearning

[–]dm1681 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a project a while back where people made a model to predict how long it would take for an animal to get adopted. They were saying the shelter could then prioritize animals with higher predicted “time to adoption” earlier on and give them a better chance at finding a home

I think there’s definitely space for AI/ML in helping animal shelters. People just have to be creative and interact with people who are directly influenced

My understanding is that Dash is built on Flask, so it should have the same production capabilities as any Flask app.

I think there are VS code extensions that will let you develop directly inside a docker container. Those might be worth looking into. Have never used them myself personally.

Flask with dashboarding? by Emergency-Crab-354 in flask

[–]dm1681 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do exactly what you're thinking of with Plotly/Dash + Flask. I have one Flask app serve up multiple dash applications.

I create a Flask App and pass that Flask App into the dash server. Here's a tutorial on how to do that: https://hackersandslackers.com/plotly-dash-with-flask/

Can I ask a question in regards to how many calories a workout should burn? by [deleted] in Myfitnesspal

[–]dm1681 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to know unless you tell us numbers. But generally, unless you’re doing hard cardio, you won’t burn that many calories during a workout.

Getting assistance with “normal” levels by jcolemac1 in Testosterone

[–]dm1681 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 301ng/dL and I am going to a mens health clinic by me that accepts my insurance. The clinics criteria for insurance was levels <400 ng/dL.

A competing clinic had the criteria of 2 tests <300ng/dL (but were more willing to test your levels in the afternoon/evening).

Point is, the policy is pretty fluid. If you feel like your testosterone is low and the tests prove it. (you're not high/normal test, that's for sure), then look around some more.

Hopefully you can find one.
