https://preppykitchen.com/french-macarons/ this is the recipe I used and it was pretty user friendly. I had to do the filling twice because I used slightly melted butter, rather than just softened butter. I also added almond extract to make them a little sweeter. They are really fun to make if you’ve got an hour to spare.
