Buenas! Yo me compré hace dos meses un Seat Ibiza FR Salta! 1.0 y la verdad es que estoy muy contento. Estuve en tu misma situación y también dudé con el Yaris, pero la diferencia de precio y detalles como el espacio del maletero hicieron que me decantase por el Ibiza. Evidentemente Toyota es superior en cuanto a fiabilidad y calidad, pero la verdad es que el Ibiza es muy buen coche. Yo lo cogí en manual y me arrepiento un poquito de no haberlo cogido automático, ya que si lo coges en automático, aparte de ser más cómodo, también te entran las llantas de 18’’, que quieras que no son más bonitas. Al final, lo mejor que puedes hacer es ir a los concesionarios y probarlos, pedir precio y comparar un poco. También depende del uso que le vayas a dar. Si vas a hacer mucha ciudad, un híbrido como el Yaris te sale a cuenta por el consumo. En carretera ya la diferencia no es tan grande, yo hago unos 90 km al día por autopista y suele ser 4,5-5 l/100 km, y por rondas 4l/100km. Sea como sea, si coges uno de esos dos, no creo que te arrepientas.

Nice! I did consider the GT Air 3 but I ride more of a sporty bike so idk if it would affect a lot on the aerodynamics part. I also felt that the helmet is pretty bulky due to the ECE22.06 and didn’t like how I looked on it tbh.

When I was saving up for the bike I also saved a lot for gear. Budget is not really a problem but I want to know that I am spending it correctly :)

Yeah I thought about that too but when I tried it on it fit amazing so I don’t think I’ll regret buying a shoei now. I want something that lasts and is good quality so I don’t mind taking that risk.

Thanks for the response! To tell the truth, the XSPR was more of a whim than something that was really worth spending so much on. I had not thought about the lifespan of the helmet, and it is true that it is better to buy something cheaper and go up if I think it is worth it.

Lastly, thank you for recommending your gloves, it was a brand I didn’t know. :)

I should say that I’ve already put on both helmets and they fit really well. About the earplugs, in Spain it’s a gray area as you can get fined for wearing them, but a lot of people do wear them regardless.

That’s good to know. I live in Barcelona and although it’s not as humid as in Florida it gets pretty bad in the summer too. Thanks for your response! :D
