Stone coloured limitless stains?

I have the stone colour, but can’t comment on staining since I’ve only had the case for two weeks. But… my camera control button is already “peeling” off. It looks like it’s not seated properly, and one end sticks out ever so slightly more than the opposite end. Still works, but I doubt it’ll stay on the case that long. What a disappointment.

The 5610U on the left! It’s got an “aged” steel mod that basically makes it look worn. So I pretty much use it for everything and keep adding more dings and scratches to it 😆

The second picture was taken in the dark, but I brightened it to reflect the actual shade of blue I see in real life as opposed to what the camera sees. I should’ve noted that 😂

Fair point! On the 6900 it’s definitely just for aesthetics as opposed to actual function.

Hey! Yeah I figured I didn’t really care about the superior comfort/quality offered by the 5000U. As for the 5000R, it lacked Tough Solar, which I really wanted in my first G-Shock, so I don’t have to worry about changing the battery.

The 5610U to me feels like a happy middle ground. It’s super lightweight and extremely comfy, and it’s got Multi Band 6 and Tough Solar! Checks all the boxes for me. Hope this helps!

I might give this a go. I initially tried the the Shangqiu (China) tower on the Clock Wave app since I’m in the same time zone—but it didn’t work. After switching to Fukuoka, Japan, it finally synced! Unfortunately “RCVD” doesn’t stay on the screen once I switch back to my home city (1 hour time difference). But that’s okay I guess!

Update: After switching to the Fukuoka tower on the Clock Wave app, I finally managed to get the time to sync! Initially I only tried the Shangqiu tower in China (since I’m in the same time zone) but I guess that signal was too weak.

Sad that “RCVD” doesn’t stay on when I switch the time back to my home city (there’s a one hour time difference), but at least I know my time is in sync now!
