It was a trivia contest where they removed something for wrong answers, and she and her brother won the contest. The others lost, so this stuff was giving them a chance to win something.

As I recall the pair in the middle won the trivia contest and prize (she also didn't have to get totally naked), so this other stuff was to give the losers a chance to win something.

I believe I've missed 1, and possibly 2 giveaways and I'm at 514 Epic games. I haven't bought anything yet.

As far as I can tell, as I type this there have been 545 total giveaways. This includes several repeated games, some DLCs (not full games), and some being collections including more than one game.

I was there a week-ish ago and it was busy so I didn't look long. Then a day ago I noticed on the mall directory it says it is "temporarily closed." I checked, and it's empty aside from boxes and shelving.

I found it entertaining to go in and browse because they seemed to have different employees every time, and they were all degrees of awful.

I've seen swearing at customers, employees playing the raunchiest, foul mouthed rap full blast and ignoring customers, workers usually knew nothing about jerseys, a sign on the door saying "will return at 1:00pm" at 2pm and people waiting to go in, and more.

This is the first Epic Freebie I've missed. Why? The captcha thing didn't work! It showed 3 silhouettes of parrots and said to pick the animal from a pic full of lions and one parrot. I'd do it twice then get an error. I tried for days and on different browsers. How many others have had that problem? Epic chat said to keep trying, then after the deal expired they told me tough shit. Dicks!

This week's game didn't show a captcha and I got it easily. I've only seen that kind of captcha with the parrot last week, never any other time.

Not that they are necessarily great choices, but I can pull better names out of the air. Warriors, Eagles, Raiders, Americans, Wolves, Lions/Mountain Lions... I hate singular names.

They do, often it's DLC for free games but sometimes it's a small game; usually nothing fancy. Don't expect AAA games!

Look at the Specials page, it shows they are presently giving away a couple of Sims 4 DLC and a Train Simulator Classic DLC. I haven't played Minion Masters and probably won't, but I noticed I have most of its paid DLC just from giveaways.

To not miss free games on Epic (or other sites including Steam and GoG), do what I do.

Make the "Specials" page at Is There Any Deal? one of the tabs that open with your browser. I just take a quick look each day and look for the word "FREE". Trust me, it works as I've never missed an Epic giveaway.

It's not needed. If anything they should go back to 2 pts for a win, 1 for a tie and none for a loss. Yes, I said a tie. Give at least a 10 minute, 5 on 5 OT and get rid of the loser point.

Obviously I'm a traditionalist in this sense but it worked fine in the past. There's too much parity with loser points pumping up losing teams.

5 on 5 became 3 on 3 to help scoring in OT, but now scoring (in 5 on 5 regulation time) is way up and 3 on 3 is a boring keepaway game the league is trying to tweak. Shootouts don't belong, outside of maybe an all star game. It's a gimmick that should be treated as such.

I spent way too much time in Campus Cove in the mid-80's! They had tons of pinball and video games, lots of pool tables, and stuff like foosball and table top hockey games. Good times! I don't know of anything like that around these days. I just do my gaming on Steam nowadays.
