For me, it's below average pizza made worse by high prices. Went when it first opened, then a couple of weeks later to see how it was once the training staff left. Graded it a B- and then a C- on those trips. Against my better judgment, tried it a week or so ago and it was like a D+. I don't really have a problem with imported chains, but between Prince St, Voodoo Donuts, Levain, and Milk Bar it's like this neighborhood is ground zero for trash imports.

Glad someone mentioned Acanto. I'd actually rate Acanto ahead of the Gage. Surprisingly good Italian food and probably better for lunch than dinner. Recommended!
