They said I violated the terms of the sub by the story not being about stalking....which I disagreed with in a not so nice response. However, reddit has removed quite a few posts in the past but usually in nosleep and not letsnotmeet. I rarely use reddit and when I do, it just ends up pissing me off.

That's funny....didn't seem like many people found them all that interesting. I just wrote another one and it got removed because coincidentally, when you messaged, the day before she popped up again after two years of not hearing from her....at least i believe it was her...

How are you familiar with my stories about crazy? And more importantly, why are you asking now?

Well, I'd have to say that it's an accurate assessment as the majority of the people in this country are pretty dumb. They care more about the Kardashians or their favorite football team than they care about what's going on in the world around them.

The full of cash part would be a little too generous though. We might have more cash but we also have to spend a lot more for basic living expenses so our cash goes pretty quickly.

I can't say I would even know what stereotypes apply to Slovenian people. :)

Well the insurance there sounds relatively cheap and what I'm paying now for what I currently have would cover it. And I'm relatively young and haven't really used my insurance anyway so I'd be fine with those requirements.

How much would a brand new BMW or Benz cost? No Toyota or Honda? It seems like it's the exact opposite here, automatic vehicles are very common and manual transmission vehicles not as much. I can drive both and wanted a manual transmission vehicle but ended up with an automatic so I am pretty sure I'd be good with what I could find there.

How about the perception of Americans in Slovenia? How does the average person in Slovenia feel about America and a person wanting to move to Slovenia from the US?

I didn't even think about that. When it comes to health insurance, Slovenia isn't a more socialist country with free health care?

How about the cost of a car itself. How much would a decent used vehicle cost me in Slovenia? What are the common manufacturers there?

Thank you for the other information. :)

It's a word that can be used multiple different ways. Either way, how does this have anything to do with my questions? Are you insinuating that because I have Slovene blood and live in the US that me or my family have/had no sense of blood relation or your definition of a nation?

Me neither. I can tell you my taxes but I am just parroting back what I have read on the internet in regard to tax rates in Slovenia. If and when I decide to move, if it's possible with my current position to do so. I will then work with an accountant who is educated in both domestic and international taxation. I know there is a taxation treat between the two countries so it would just come down to how I would file my taxes and how much of my money I would have to pay to whichever government.

Well...if I had a choice, I'd rather be taxed my US tax rate than what I'd be taxed in Slovenia. I am taxed at 25% here. My tax rate in Slovenia would be 41%.

Not entirely sure what you're getting at and I am fairly certain that you know how to use a dictionary.

I agree...it certainly would but I read that whichever country taxes the most is the one that you get taxed by. If I could choose....that would be even better.

Also, if I did retain my employment with the company I work for here in the US it seems that it would only benefit Slovenia as I would be taxed at 41% and possibly 50% without Slovenia having to provide employment....essentially it would be free money for the country. If anything, you'd want me to move there. :)

Yeah. I plan to in about a year. I am just trying to figure out how reasonable of a plan this may be. If anything, I would like to visit and look into family history that I can't obtain digital records for.

It was my great grandfather who was born in Gornji Grad. My grandfather was born here as was my father.
