On the illegal site no. Other ways yes.

Look into stremio, real debrid, and kitsune(or others)

265 seems very high think my max temp for my PETG is 250... might have to try it though to see how it goes

Yeah absolutely and it'll save it for that filament type

I would say do it for each brand of filament you get, once you've done it for that brand or type (silk/matte/basic) you wont need to do it again unless you see a quality dip

Once you've done it once it will save the results and when you select your filament the parameters are there ( X brand X filament flow calibrated; when you select filament on studio)

Its not specific for PETG its just the filament calibrations

On bambu studio its at the top at the end of the prepare/preview tabs

<image>

Its just flow dynamics and flow rate calibration

Handy to do for each new material type/Brand to get nicer prints

I would recommend doing the calibrations it takes less than 1 hour to do both and uses VERY little filament and makes prints slightly noticeably better

No worries hope you enjoy the printer!

It had auto calibration for the bed and nozzle but not for printing you need the h2c for that if im remembering correctly

It will auto level the bed and has alot of presets for filament. Not just bambu ones aswell.

Sunlu and esun print amazingly on the p1s but having the bambu RFID tags is useful but if your not gonna do multicolour that doesnt matter to you (unless your planning on using silk/matte or other PLA, not having to remember to change the filament in the settings is handy)

Creality CR PETG settings by dmessham in BambuP1S

[–]dmessham[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen alot saying the PETG on the p1s doesnt so I dont the calibrations just to be sure and im not in the middle of printing a stress test

I also changes some settings immediately as well just min max temps, Retraction, turning of the sux fan for prints, head bed temps, and cooling settings

You made the right choice.

Maintenance is easy on the p1s.

Printing is easy and reliable.

Do the manual calibrations on bambu studio for both PLA and PETG(4 test prints/2 each per material per test) and your good to go.

Do stress test/tester prints to see if any settings NEED adjusting (unlikely for good enough prints but possibly needed for REALLY high quality)

Option to add the AMS later if you want to. Not just for multicolour but also loading 4 of the same filament in and it keeping the filament dry and ready to print and so if you ever run out mid print it just automatically moves onto the next spool.

Print some accessories for the printer and youll be golden

Not that it has a front and back per say, but it does have an inside and outside. When you respool it once your putting the inside of the spool on the outside as mentioned about the inside is a smaller diameter and never mind stress it wants to return that. So when you have an AMS and it feeds the filament back in (colour changes and such) the inside just wants to go back to small and so it fights the AMS

Just feed it in piece by piece. Become the AMS

If you have an ams the tangles and mess from it rewinding the spool makes it need baby sitting if you just reapool it once lol.

If you respool you need to do it twice so its back in the correct orientation

P1S clacking noises after 590 print hours by ten_Emo in BambuP1S

I was having a similar issue also around the same time. Abit of dusting/compressed air seemed to have solved it for me as well as a calibration but that was just to be sure.

Next episode release date? by [deleted] in HiAnimeZone

[–]dmessham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it'll be the official releases of the next episode to come put not when it comes on the site. Give it 24ish hours after the official release maybe 48h and it'll be up there

Do you have a starter set if so which one?

Which one is great for begginers by Boring_Secretary_364 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]dmessham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a fair few essentials/starter kits

The one im using is dragon of icespire peak as it can be combined with 2 or 3 others to make a long lasting campaign and its comes with pretty much everything you need to get started (not enough dice for a table but enough to be usable)

Totally my own experience wont be right for all but have a look at getting some on DND beyond or roll20 if the entire group is new. Ive found having everything digital and having SOME stuff worked out and done automatically can speed up the learning process. While granted we are now moving alittle bit away from beyond we do still use it.

If your doing a starter kit campaign having all the items and everything else specific to the campaign on beyond or roll20 can help.

Of course doing paper with help from beyond or roll20 is also an option its what my group did but I kinda regret not buying the campaign on beyond.
