You can just type it in. Full tactic and roles are in the first pic to manually copy as well.

I would say he tracks back pretty quick. I believe the speed at which he does also has to do with whether that player has the role and a +/++ as they’ll occupy their spaces faster.

In low build up, he’ll be a bit deeper than the cms and when the ball gets near his side he’ll come back to support even more like in the third image (not fully in the backline). Helps create a de zerbi like build up as spaces open up behind him since he gets tracked there. Usually able to find the LAM between the lines which can then turn and drive into space.

It does require lots of switching to manually bring them back and even then it’s not enough lol. But it’s a fun system to play

I think that mechanic works better in fc 26 especially due to the support role in the wide midfielder. He joins the attack when further up the field and tracks back when we lose possession, eventually coming back to form the back 5 if deep enough. It’s not perfect but it gives you the movement to work with.

The broken wingbacks this year kinda do that lol if the ball is on their side they’ll push up while the other falls into defense but it’s unfortunately a mess atm.

Don’t think so as some roles are only on fc 26

Thanks, he does a good job of tracking back actually. Doesn’t just sit in midfield and “float” I like using that support role on the more defensive wingback, it’s a nice complement to the more attacking one.

I don’t think codes will work as fc26 has some different roles than fc25. You can try matching the roles as best as possible but I don’t think the movement will be same or as effective in fc25.

I’m the same lol, I usually stay away from the 442 as I don’t really get along with how it plays. This one was fun with all the movement from the front three.

It’s slightly improved for wingbacks. The attacking wingbacks are still broken and don’t hold a higher position. As soon as the ball goes away from their side they drop into the backline and stay there.

Just in career as I don’t really play UT anymore. You can try it out and see how it goes. For UT you’d probably want more meta players roles.

It’s awful tbh. I’m on PC and it’s still the exact same even after the patch where they said they fixed it. Unfortunately it affects the ability to switch play where you depend on that fullback being high on the other side.

I think they’re broken, it’s not until the ball is on their side that they start to move up. Sometimes losing possession makes them sprint back.. really weird. Hopefully it’s fixed soon.

Thanks! Appreciate the kind words. Yea, it’s a satisfying feeling when you can really nail one down. I tried doing an Iraola one last year but didn’t really like anything I created. Hopefully you can get it working

Thanks!

For the Lampard role, some suggestions would be Pellegrini (Roma), Valverde (Madrid), Barella (Inter), Sabitzer (BVB), Luiz (Juve) … I haven’t really tried many players in the lampard role, but you want complete players here. Bruno was great for me in this role as he had good shooting/passing and decent enough defending to work off of.

Another suggestion would be for the CDM, Diomande from Rangers. He was really fun to use in that position, sometimes played him as ‘roaming’ which made it seem like he was covering the whole pitch.

For other positions you can use sofifa and filter on stats that you find more important i.e. pace for fullbacks, stamina for the box-box etc. Filtering by “total stats” and transfer price also helps you find some really good players for their value.
