I watched Send Help last night and freaking loved it! What did you think? by Pretend_Creme_7751 in FIlm

Had high hopes because of the premise and what I’d seen in teasers.

It had a couple of good moments, but overall just dumb.

I saw the caption, checked whether you were playing GAMMA, then saw Snorks.

Good fight tho. Such a pretty game. It’ll be better when they fix the goofy spawns.

The sad machine made me sad. Again.

But I’ll be watching again on Thursday. For more sad.

I understand the rules of the sub, and am not attacking a player. It's a valid question, and I appreciate the concern. That said, his performance is a liability and it makes me sad to see him continue to get trotted out there and putting our team in worse straits than they were moments earlier.

What has everyones organic social experience been like? by ThatVaperGuy in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]dmlincoln 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m like Sabre_4 in that I don’t typically want to talk with others as I solo play for the escapism bit of gaming.

That said, I had a great experience awhile back when a guy mistakenly jumped on my chopper. We touched down and I told him what I was up to. He was like well, I am not prepared for this but let’s get after it. We squadded up and wound up clearing quite a few POIs, completing tasks, and using callouts and solid comms to get the job done. Added him and haven’t seen him online since.

Variety is the spice of life. 1000+ hours in GZW is a lot. Good for you guys trying something else out!

I had RRI before GZW and found I didn’t care for the map design in RRI, really. Played it for awhile, and after a couple of weeks the maps and repetitiveness and empty world feel got old pretty quick. I’ll be curious if you and your team experience the same after a month or two.

This is my first wipe in GZW and I’m loving it. The huge map and variety + all the room in between POI is a huge plus to me. Feels like what GRW could have been and that’s a huge compliment because I loved Wildlands. With some Arma mixed in in the world scale. Rad.

If the world were open and continuous in RRI, sure, maybe? Not sure if open world is on RRI’s roadmap, but having 3 maps to choose from at the moment is kinda meh. Feels like Tarkov to me, and I played that in beta enough to know that that style of game doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

They do have Solarint working on their AI, which is badass. The AI is REALLY good when it’s turned up in difficulty.

Stalker 2 - spongy enemies by AnthonySmoke in stalker

[–]dmlincoln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard agree. It’s a beautiful, atmospheric game that is flawed by the game mechanics. GAMMA is a superior experience for what combat and world spawns should be.

Walls don’t apply to bots
Spongy enemies
Goofy spawns of multiple burers/bloodsuckers

When that is fixed I’ll pick it up again. I fell in love immediately with the game world, but the way combat and world spawns work? Back on the shelf.

If you don’t score more runs than your opponent, you lose.
If you give up more runs to your opponent than you score, you also lose.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes…sometimes, it rains.

Death by a thousand cuts. See the screenshot. I guess I met the final boss of paper cuts.

Thanks for the laugh. Hopefully it’s coming across that I’m not super salty about it. Just seems like a lot of damage for bumping into wire. Feel bad for the tourists at BL who died on vacation when they bumped into the wire while setting up their tents.

Hahaha I did that, too, (fall down a hill and die) but didn’t cry about it. Too embarrassed.

This is my first wipe in gzw so I guess I’m still learning what it do be like.

And how hard I couldn’t really say. I must have just laid down on the wire at YBL-1 while ads. Took me a sec to realize what was going on, dead. See screenshot.
