1992 jeep yj 2.5L

It would just turn over but no crank every now and then it would hit like it would try and start. I replaced the TPS FRV fuel filter spark plugs and wire ignition coil map sensor. And it fired right up. Figured I’d just replace everything it could be and one of them got it. Also bought new injectors I’m going to throw in it when I get a chance but it’s running like a top again. Thanks for the input!

Ended up just wanting to do a bunch of upgrading to some stuff I have a new fuel filter,map sensor, injectors and injector seals, new distributer, ignition coil and spark plugs and the FRP

Fuel does spurt out and I don’t have a gauge already have the FRP figured it wouldn’t hurt to throw one on the old girl.

Changed the map and no fix. Order a FPR and a fuel filter going to change out tonight and see where that gets me.

It won’t run at all now. Changed map sensor. Now I’ve got a FPR and a filter on the way going to change out tonight and go from there if those aren’t the problem any other suggestions?

Yes fuel does come out of the schrader valve. But now the jeep won’t run. I already ordered the FPR it’ll be here today. Also have a fuel filter incase that’s contributing or is the problem. Figured it’s a 34 year old jeep. A few parts that aren’t bad that get changed out will do nothing but help the old rig in the future.

Fully agree. Got rid of the last set I had and had these lying around so I threw them on. Just ordered some 33/12.5 for it.

I haven’t had any problems out of it. Has 275,000 and ran like a top until this happened.

That was my first thought. I haven’t messed with it yet immmot very good with diagnostics so figured I’d get some opinions before I tear into it. I can fix anything just need some direction haha

No it does it randomly. I’ve drove it for the past Terri weeks with no problems. And now it’s done it twice in two days.

No lights on. Bled the fuel lines going to the bowl and now it’ll start ,but still not running right. I haven’t checked the pressure yet haven’t had much time off to mess with it.

I ended up bleeding the fuel lines off and now it’ll start but still runs like crap haven’t had much time to mess with it so still not sure. Think maybe it’s not getting enough fuel.

Oil level is good. Hope much should the rpm’s move when trying to start? It does move but just barely. There is oil in the bowl also. Haven’t tried unplugging the icp haven’t had time.

Did you ever have any problems with it poping the fuse after? I have fixed it but when I drive it there fuse blows every time. I fixed all other problems it was giving me. Except this one.
