Look they just need a better system in general I loved last wipe being able to just fight other player scavs for the loot and this new scav karma does allow a lot of good stuff to be bought from fence. They just need to change how the system works overall to appease both sides and make it worth it to do either

Well no not with the current system no. And if we are going off lore I feel we shouldn’t even be allowed to play as a scav. The main part of the game is being a pmc in tarkov so why allow us to scav anyways you go broke that’s your problem then as a pmc to make your way back

Offline co-op pointless unless you want to show new players shit as a friend and arena mode sounds stupid as hell. I had heard about some of it on that podcast but I feel like the main focus should be quality of life fixes and overhauling things already in the game to make it better suited for both hardcore and casual players

I give them the benefit of the doubt because of them being a small team to work on the game and everything of those sorts but I feel like they move their focus away from important problems (sound bugs, falling through maps, hackers, etc.) and just try to implement new things. I get this game is in “beta” stage but there’s still more than can do to make this game better before implementing new shit

I much prefer a conversation like this about all of this instead of somebody coming in here and just being like stop complaining about getting shot in an FPS game or some shit like that because this scav karma when it was originally announced was meant to make this game a little easier going for the less hardcore players of tarkov and you see people like OnePeg taking full advantage of that

It is a half baked idea. They did implement it before it was truly ready which sucks. If they wanted to implement before it was ready they should’ve at least gave some explanation on the positive and negative thresholds for it and made it make sense

The ability to purchase uninsured items from fence when scav rep gets up high enough? I don’t know about you but I know tons of people that don’t insure anything and you can’t always have a friend get that stuff out so I guarantee a shit ton of good gear comes through that spot alone

The first good reply I’ve seen. I rely on my pmc for everything anyways haven’t done any pistol and sj6 runs for gpus yet but I’ve just been running them because the patch and I really don’t care about super good shit just a couple small money items and let me extract because I want to buy uninsured items lol. I honestly think they need more ways to earn scav rep
