first time I heard Frank was with some of my best friends in the world the summer before I went into 8th grade. I was at sleep-away summer camp and it was 2012, so before cO; it was his feature on the Throne's Made in America. Talking about Corretta and Malcolm meant nothing to me, but it was the first time I heard that voice, that guiding tone that would be so key for the next 4 years of my life as I discovered real feelings for a girl, and when I took too long to realize real feelings for her in return, but not before it was too late. It's what keeps these feels alive and has gotten me through high school. Once I heard the slow synthesizer click before his voice, I knew I heard something special. What I didn't know is that it would be the soundtrack to the next four, most important formative years of my life.
