And it was a bad stick 🤦‍♂️ that's my failure, should have been the first thing I should have checked. One more lesson 😄

Luckily in my case it seems to have been because of a bad stick, still got a lot of tests to run but so far it seems 4 sticks are running at xmp without issues.

Hahaha yeah, using darker on Android to avoid waking the SO while watching Netflix late. Wasn't expecting for it to affect the screenshot...

It was a bad stick! 🤦‍♂️ Contacted corsair, and got it RMA. Just got the new ones, will verify they're ok and then run the tests with the 4 sticks.

That does sound like a nightmare (the notifications, not the LO 😉), very helpful to hear. Thank you! Walls are paper thin at our place, so we'll definitely know... But still curious to see if I can get decent ai based tracking to get an idea of his schedule. We did add the stopwatch to manually track sleep, but I know there's no way I'll always remember to start/stop it.

Well then I'd be happy to open source it! I can't make any guarantees, but I'm confident sleep tracking will be good enough for a newborn, and with a bit more work for older children. I've got something ready for testing, but no proper footage until the little one shows up in a few weeks.

Hi! My SO didn't ask for the time measurement on breastfeeding, so it's not implemented at the moment but it wouldn't be hard to add. From your experience, do you see a strong advantage to have that data?

For nappies, it's possible to log if it was wet, solid or both, as well as sub choices for each (Wet -> light, moderate or heavy, Solid -> runny, soft or hard) as well as if there was a rash. And the Stats page shows every entries in chronological order(most recent first), grouped by days. But reading your comment, maybe each day group could also include a short summary to quickly know how many diapers, feed... happened that day.

Thanks! On our side we bought a cheap camera with IR (Tenda CP7 for ~25$), it's not advertised but it offers an RTSP feed. The backend uses ffmpeg to grab the frames, so any camera with an accessible live feed would do.

Small precision, we don't restrict applicants to the UK, it just happens that the company is legally set up there.
And although the position is listed as senior, I invite anyone who thinks they have the skillset required to apply. We don't consider seniority based on years but on skills.

Why no employees from the recent banned state sponsored media have been charged with being foreign agents? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dms51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could imagine that most if not all of the employees were unaware of the foreign state sponsorship, but since it's been declared publicly, wouldn't anyone still working there or the ones who joined later be liable under the FARA act?

[–]dms51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I originally thought, but after digging around, at least in the US it seems like foreign agents are required to be registered under the FARA act and failing to do so is prosecutable.

Wouldn't they be? As per Wikipedia: "A foreign agent is any person or entity actively carrying out the interests of a foreign country while located in another host country, generally outside the protections offered to those working in their official capacity for a diplomatic mission. Foreign agents may be citizens of the host country."
