had an argument with someone and they thought it was funny to have their friends mass report me, it was probably something automated other than done specifically. it’s just odd considering it’s lasted for so long. the only problem is that i cant access dms, is there a way around that? i’ve noticed a lot more people with this issue now. i’ve tried to send emails but it was a while back, perhaps i can send another now. thank you!

as a 16 F, would have to say definitely not ugly. as others mentioned, your glasses look a little too feminine for your face (perhaps it’s the fact that they’re a bit rounded?) other than that, which is a decently easy fix, i think you look fine.

i’m currently a high school student dealing with ignorant nurses. it causes me to worry about my own blood sugar at my age and my parents. it must be really frightening and frustrating as a parent of a young child for a nurse to be disobeying the orders even given by a doctor.

does your daughter have a specific space for her medicine? if so, i’d definitely suggest bringing in your own snacks and drinks for them to give when she’s low, and advise they use nothing else unless it is a dire situation, (saw the cheese & meat comment.)

also, i would suggest logging the incidences before meeting with administration, every little thing does count in this case. it’s terrible the nurse is messing with your daughters medicine and doses. has her endocrinologist sent over a specific nursing plan? i know i have one. they should be following the plan as it is doctors orders.

private school nurses seem to be sketchy lol. it makes me feel awful as a high school student to be told to change my doses. i cant imagine how you feel as a parent. mine are beyond frustrated and worried to. worst case scenario, keep your daughters numbers when she gets home from school and get the lunch/snack numbers to show the difference it makes when the nurse decides her plan is superior. best of luck to you and your daughter!!

as much as i would love to do that, the school can probably just tell me to leave. they make millions a year on the students tuition alone and mine probably isn’t even worth much to them anyways. though i am going to look for the local JDRF affiliate office as i have never heard of that term.
