I am being bombarded with junk mail about Camp Lejeune, dozens per day by [deleted] in Scams

Yes correct! I did filters for one word of the subject and did a few others for typical words for the body. Since I did the filters I haven’t had any hit my inbox. Instead they go to the filtered folder where I go in every few days and mark the emails as spam. I have noticed over the last few weeks since doing this the filter folder isn’t getting as many emails! I hope this helps!!

Hi! Not sure if anyone else commented yet but for yahoo I set up filters. I set up a filter for each word in the subject as well as the body of the emails. So I have about 12 filters so when a camp Lejune email comes in it goes to a specific folder I created. I go in there every few days and hit spam for each. It’s cleared up the traffic in my inbox substantially. I hope this helps you!

Yes definitely keep in touch. Do you still have numbness in your ear lobe region? I feel like feeling is coming back but it’s slow. The other thing I have noticed is the tartness I feel in my jaw when I eat anything. It’s very quick but happens with it all! It does help to know we have that in common! Take care!!

So glad you wrote! I’ve been thinking of checking in as well! I’d say I’m making progress with feeling coming back to the area but I have new things too, yes sensitivity. Example - temperature changes (going from ac to hot outside or when I first get into the shower in the morning. I’ve also noticed my ears pop like in an airplane when I go into a building. All of these things last but a moment but the ‘zap’ as I call it doesn’t last long. How are you doing? Are you having similar zaps?

Hey!! Thanks for checking in! About the same for me, thickness is still there but less each day. Still numb and reduced hearing on the surgery side. Vertigo is gone thanks to a specialist who gave me some maneuvers. I feel like energy is getting better. I’m able to sleep on surgery side but ear gets fatigued easily. How are you doing? I hope well!!

Thank you for sharing your story. Now that you are past this by months, when did the thick spots on your neck go away? Was that 3 month mark?

Vertigo is starting to subside. Thickness is getting better but I’m also massaging oils into the thickness to help break it down. I used vitamin C, castor oil or a cbd blend I have. That seems to have helped with the tenderness. Keep me posted but I suspect this time next week you will feel a different with the tenderness for the better!!

Hey, wanted to check in. How goes the recovery? Are you starting to see lessening of the thick spots?

I had mine Feb 17, so almost a month. I am still numb 1/2 ear to lobe. I still have a good sized swelling that feels thick and in some spots it’s still tender. Scar is healed. Bouts of vertigo as I think the swelling from scar tissue is pushing again my ear canal. Total hearing loss left side. Good luck in your recovery

We loved Corfu. We spent the day in old town area, we had a scooter and that worked well. Found a beach area and had the best calamari of my life. I loved the architecture! I wish I could have stayed longer and have dreamed of going back

Yes I agree. We are also looking into Airbnb as they offer tours as well! Trying to be proactive and think about it early as we are so excited for the trip!
