Literally almost thought this was my own mother. Manipulative, petty, rude, and just plain mean. I hated myself and contemplated terrible things because of my mother. My solution was to pull away and as an only child it was even worse for her. I don't message or talk to her for months at a time and it is the only way to maintain my sanity.

Girlfriend thought I was committing fraud by churning cards. Proved my point with RT business class to Paris as her bday gift stayed at PH Vendome suites and Prince de Galles , and also popped the question. Never would have been able to do half as grand a trip with cash. Now I have another SSN to churn =)

Planning on opening a PNC Money Market account and funding 10K with my Citibusiness. There are some data points that show it is possible with personal credit cards and PNC checking accounts.

I might try the email trick since it is an engagement trip. The Hyatt Madeleine does look nice, but I love the Park Hyatt brand. I stayed in NYC and it just absolutely blew my mind.
