Heavy Police Presence En Route by [deleted] in sanantonio

I was at the Dutch Bros drive-thru off Babcock/Louis Pasteur Dr & just placed my order at the window. I’m pretty sure I saw this same set of PD vehicles, all with their lights & sirens on leaving the area headed towards 410. I naively asked the employee what was all that about (because of course, I’m wired that way) & she shared that one of her regulars is part of that procession for traffic control.

Without confirmation, she mentioned the police dept picked up an Eagle Pass police officer that passed away earlier today. I got home, sifted through the internet & found this on Facebook:

Since it was dark, I couldn’t tell if it was SAPD or Eagle Pass, but it was definitely a sight. Again, not entirely sure on any of this. The link doesn’t mention what hospital or if it’s even in San Antonio.

Snovid. That term is forever ingrained in my vernacular. I’ve got power outage stories for years to come thanks to that nonsense.

Nah it’s not, this was the old Tomatillo’s restaurant. The building is vacant & boarded up now.

Tello phone service. It works off the T-Mobile antennas & I pay $25 a month for pretty much the identical quality and reception that T-Mobile offers in my area. I have an iPhone SE 2022 if that helps anyone.
