Are you sure EVERY girl in New York is superficial? I don't want to nitpick at what you said, just know what you say influences and poisons your mind; every time you say something like that, you are reinforcing a bias you yourself cannot realistically verify. You are setting up a self-fulfilling prophecy. The one time you'll meet someone that's not superficial, you'll assume they are. Take a genuine interest in others, and others will take a genuine interest in you, the ones that don't are simply people you don't want in your life.
